Sam was my Great Grand Uncle who was a part of the 1929-30 League winning team..Does anybody have a team photo with the shield that was taken at the end of the season that i can add to my research that im currently doing on Sam's career.

Hi Phil,

 

I'm the OVF founder and I've done some blog posts on Sam Jennings. I'm reasonably familiar with his career (including his partnership with Albert Pynegar in 1929-30.

 

I'm going to send you a private message as I'd love to discuss your great grand uncle with you and hopefully feature him on some future OVF articles.

Hi Rob,

Thsnks for your quick response,ive got quite a bit on Sam and im always looking to add to it especially images and photographs.I have noticed that there isnt anything on your site..If ive anything of use to you then i will gladly forward it on as i would like people and supporters of the club to be aware of who he was and how prolific he was also.
