Funny this subject came up as I only mentioned it to someone last week, not occurred to me it was 30 years ago. I was at school at Moorland Junior School and it was our last day there before we moved to high school. Our Head used to hold an afternoon assembly and was a stickler for us singing Jerusalem on the last day of school. All was going well until the afternoon soundchecks came on with Lemmy launching into the "Ace of Spades"....of course we couldn't compete with him. Good memories!

Are any of them still alive ?

 

Randy Rhodes (Ozzy's guitarist) died in a plane crash in 1982

 

I think everyone else is still around which in the case of Ozzy and Lemmy is a miracle

 

Of the bands..Motorhead still going, Ozzy still going, I think Triumph are still around, Riot are I think no more, Frank Marino i have no idea and I don't think that Vardis (led by singer/guitarist Steve Zodiac are still going; but happy to be corrected.
