Having hung on by the skin of their teeth (and their total lack of morals) could the board survive/turn down another serious offer of investment from outside the club?

 

Im not talking about selling to just anybody, Im talking about genuine bids like Newton/Sims and Chaudry.

 

If say someone like Phil Taylor, Robbie? wanted complete control surely they'd have to call it a day?

Theyve said all along they wil step aside when the "right man" with the "right bid" comes along.

Not a good enough answer I'm afraid. Surely you must have some idea of the sort of person(s) you would like to see take over at the Vale. You seem very clear about whom you don't want so let's hear what sort of person you do.

What would be the right bid for you, the Yankee plastic turf people, or other investors with no money, you seem so sure that they will step down from their cosy little empire, when the right people come along, so come on spit it out, who would you suggest we have investing in our club.

Well for a start i would want 95% of fans to be behind any takeover bid / person rather than just 5%...

No board would turn that one away...

90% plus shareholders were for ther recent investor, it has nothing to do with the fans, but if it did 600 to 3 fans at a sc meeting were for the recent investor so your maths aren't quite right are they?

Also with Billy BS and the board defaming any potential investor, ever likely people don't back them 100%. They even tried the same tactics on Mark Simms, is he not suitable in your eyes? If not why not and who is?

 

Why are unheard of americans more suitable to be on our board than a local person with money? Because the board don't have to show anyone the financial books that is why.

Yes they are because if "90% or 600" as you put it also had the support of 90% ofthe placid, content, happy supporters then things would have been different, surely you can see that..

The board fought the battle because they had "support"...

The board who survived the vote of no confidence only did so because of their own shareholdings. If they weren't allowed to vote for themselves they wouldn't be here today, fact
