Looks like the coaches wives were wrong Carol. Can’t wait for them to predict we will win the league next season

The wages and paying them is down to Carol.
It’s also DF going after unrealistic targets. Did the same last season

Was an appalling clearance from Debrah. His regression as a player as the season has gone on has been startling.
Needs releasing. Whether under contract or not he’s non league at best.

Hopefully the last time I see in a vale shirt.

Let’s face it Vale Fans, Carlisle and us are by far the 2 Worst Sides in League One.
Fleetwood, Burton and Cheltenham have shown some fight, us and Carlisle have shown none.
I thought they were far better than us at their place as well. Fleetwood battered us, Cheltenham took 6 points and Burton were dire but have shown some bottle. I personally think we’re the worst side in the league who had a lucky start and if not for that would be 24th where we belong.

Those teams whose players actually give a <ovf censored> are staying up so fair do's
Exactly. They have all shown fight. Even Burtons amateur manager has managed to install more fight in that bunch than our ‘championship’ manager has.

I thought we were going down when Cheltenham beat us at home so not a big shock. Still a shame, I just hope this side is ripped apart and 95% released

Cheltenham now as well. Amazing what sides at the bottom can do when they have a go.

I wonder if they will blow a 2-0 lead like us?

Ah the trusted Ryan loft and that very successful defence which has worked wonders for us. 6-0 Bolton

Doing poorly with a bad hand is a good way of putting it.
You either believe that his relative success at WBA, Doncaster, and Sheff Weds was all a big fluke, or he’s got something about him.
Again the success at Sheffield wasnt exactly difficult. He seems to do well with sides with money. I’ll base it off how he’s been here. Dire. His tactics suggests he Dosent have a lot about him to be honest.
It’s convenient you haven’t mentioned Huddersfield, his most recent role. Two relegations on his Cv in one season, can’t wait for next season.

Just to bring you up to speed on Wanderers, we should be pretty much at full strength after resting a few with knocks against Shrewsbury. For whatever reason that led to a dreadful performance but not just by the players who came in, the whole team just flopped and in the end we were lucky to get a point. Santos is the only doubt and if he’s still missing I suspect you’ll get a chance to see Will Forrester again who apart from Tuesday has been tremendous. I’m really surprised and disappointed that Vale are where they are I expected much better from you but obviously things haven’t turned out well and sadly since Saturday is a major must win game for us I’d be surprised if we don’t really go for it, including goals to have even a chance of overtaking Derby. Still you never know footballs a funny game but whatever happens I wish you well next season wherever you are. If it is L2 I think after a clear out and recruitment summer DM should have a much better chance of turning you around.
I’ll change my prediction to 7-0 then

But football at our level depends on charity, match receipts are insufficient. At present we rely on the owners putting money in, and they are not likely to get it back. Other charity work is carried out at the ground (funded partially by the state and local sources). The owners did charity work before buying the Vale, it was not likely they would stop.
Port vale is a football club not a charity.

We are the worst side in League 1 for set pieces. 10 scored from them, and 20 conceded. -10 GD.
Something to consider. None of the centre halves are aerially dominant. We concede loads from deep crosses. Size and height at the back is an absolute must for the summer.
Not a good sign when both managers this season were centre backs.

We not playing a defence what's the point in a defence if they cannot defend run forwards and try something else .
Yes he has a great imagination VFIA .
Love that guy
He could do a better job that DM
Probably could to be fair.

Death of football. Top 6 sides get what they want again. Horrible decision.

I'd go for this game .
Leuitwiler (sick of Ripley giving ball to opposition from kicks its so needless ).
Ojo
Sang Walters Plant Grant
Massey Garrity Chislett
Uche Dipepa
I'd go with that we cannot defend so play with none just go forwards and try score loads.
Ojo can be first line of defence and attack
Is that plant and Walters at centre back? Christ that 11 reminds of someone else that used to post on here.

We need some proper d*** heads in the side. Those players that you hate for the opposition but love in your 11. Were far too nice and don’t tackle.
Massive clear out needed, keep if possible Garrity, Chislett, Ripley and the young lads and get rid of the rest. Ojo could be a step above this level if he’s bothered so maybe him as well. Oh clear out the manager as well. Start again.

My relative is a Bolton fan. Says they struggle against <ovf censored> sides at home. With that in mind I will go 6-0 Bolton.

It's not an either / or choice.
It's possible for us to be a good citizen for the local community AND to achieve success on the field - as Vale demonstrated in the promotion season.
The fact that the football has gone badly this season doesn't take away from the worth of this community achievement.
Port Vale is a lot more than just a football club.Port vale is a football club. That’s exactly what we are. I couldn’t care less about this.

No, he probably won't. But the question was, why did you sign him? The reason was, he had an excellent season playing in this league last season.
................and that is a straight and accurate answer to a specific question. I don't know what makes it different playing for Morecambe and playing for Port Vale - that is for you to discuss and analyse. His time at Port Vale has certainly been a disappointment - whatever the reasons..
He was no better at Blackpool. He’s barely a footballer, I can’t think of anything he has done in a vale shirt, anonymous most if not all games, afraid to tackle, no engine, not creative, can’t pass, I honestly don’t know what he does.

Perhaps because he scored 10 goals from midfield in this league last season, for a team fighting relegation?
How did he do in league 1 this season?

Yeah probably. Although I remember Clitcroft saying we were after players that ended up at Derby, Posh ect.
