    I refuse to clap mediocrity

I would rather get up off my seat

and walk out the ground , job done

That’s fine but now isn’t the time to boo. I’m more critical and negative than anyone but booing will get us nowhere. There is 4 games left. Let’s back them all the way and try our best to ensure we can see league 1 football next season. If we are relegated with more flat performances, they will be plenty of time to vent and boo after the Cambridge match. For now, we have to get behind them as we have been doing

Because the games are 'at home', and at home, we should be a bit more forward and have chances to win the game.

But I would agree, not enough quality in this team to stay up, which is why Moore is trying to be pragmatic and drag us there.

Still, it's possible if we get a couple of results and other games go our way, but that is asking a lot

Tougher games than some are suggesting. Especially with Exeter and Wycombe. I’d snap your hand off for 4 points from the next two. We will lose at Bolton and then it’s down to the final day in a game we have a decent chance in. If we are to have any hope, Moore needs to start with our better players. I know Chislett hasn’t been great since the turn of the year, but he’s still one of, if not our most creative player and has to start. For me, Uche has to start. He can cause havoc. Loft, Massey, Walters and Lowe cannot start another game if we have any interest in staying up.

I clapped the players if that's ok. Posh are a top team very dominant on the night and our plan was to nick a point .

There wide players were very mobile and tricky and yet we kept them at bay until Ripley decided to let a head high shot in on half time and that ruined our game plan

But he will go on twitter later and say we must do better and people will buy it and say its not your fault connor!

Big shout out to Planty and Grant who gave there all against waves of expansive football and kept going to the end.

    See you Saturday

    UTV

Kept them at bay? They missed countless chances before the goal (that Ripley could do nothing about) big deflection. I’d take a look at Plant and Walters who were much more at fault.

The odds would have been against it, just as they would have been against getting to half-time at 0-0.

But it was exactly the right plan against a high-flying Peterborough side.

Darren Moore has shown a really pragmatic approach.

Playing more openly against sides we can potentially beat, given our side's current stage of development under Darren.

And playing it really tight against sides which are clearly a lot better than us - trying to force a draw or even a spawny win on a late breakaway.

But if that doesn't work, at least not letting the GD be hammered.

Excellent football management, working with what he has got.

Yes I thought the team selection was fantastic management. What genius to select Jason Lowe, Rhys Walters, Connor Grant, Gavin Massey and Ryan Loft all in the same 11. Only thing he could have done better was start Dan Jones as well.

I said it was a soft penalty but there are 11 out there who haven't performed but lofty is coming in for most the stick - is he crap, probably, but we have got other crappers out there - and I'm still sulking cuz I haven't had my mini eggs 💖💖

The others didn’t give away that penalty though. Plenty of them have got stick as well.

Lofty has ran his knackers off again tonight up front on his own - soft penalty to give admittedly, but he ain't the reason we are losing - Peterborough are the best footballing side in this division - just accept that we have been beaten by an excellent side and stop looking for effing scapegoats all the time.

Well he’s the reason for one of the goals. How is playing dog <ovf censored> making someone a scapegoat. The usual suspects have been crap

He didn’t though did he. He ran around, missed a sitter and scored a goal from 2 yards with the keeper lying on the penalty spot. If that’s the benchmark for a half decent performance from a striker then it’s no wonder we’re in the bottom 4 with 4 games to go.

Well compared to what he’s shown in every other match. He’s garbage, worst striker I’ve seen for vale

I actually feel for him. It’s easy to slag him off and give him abuse. I highly doubt he wants to play crap and cost the  team like he has tonight.

No excuse for what he did for that goal. I get playing crap and it ain’t easy in this formation, but bringing him down like that is pretty poor.
