  1. 4 points from these two games would be great and against two teams we really shouldn’t fear. Northampton done well but only came up this season and were garbage down vale park. Rovers is anyone’s guess, results up and down and clearly a better side than us but one we can beat. 4 or 6 points please, some tough games coming up. Although my mate is a Bolton fan and is expecting an upset for that one. Win Friday and we’re back in it as burton / Cambridge won’t get many more points either.

  2. It’s a big weekend coming up. If we can get 3 points from the two games I think it will at least keep us in touch. Flitcroft going was huge, i think it will galvanise us and give us a real shot. Saturday was a massive win, burton were dire and won’t pick up many more points and Cambridge are also in free fall. Some very poor sides which we are one of but we do have a chance.

Loft has had a pretty dismal season but it’s not been down to a lack of effort. That’s why a lot of the criticism has been harsh and unnecessary, including the comments on Thursday.

I don’t know. I’ve see plenty a game here he’s not tried. All criticism of a striker with his record is well deserved in my opinion. Did well today though and hopefully a platform for him and us to build on

Loft was excellent today. I hope the guy who was bad mouthing him at the Supporters Club meeting was there to see it.

To be fair he had ducking good reason to bad mouth him. 1 performance doesn’t make up for a whole season! Or has this season of his performances been acceptable?

I think this was our ‘Walsall moment’ personally, there’s some winnable games for sure, but we’ve got to go on a real unexpected run of results (based on long term form) to turn it round and I think we’ll still fall short. I had us not winning another game this season so bad as last week so at least that’s something!

I did mate as well. I honestly think that Flitcroft moment could bring us all together. Either this season or at least give us the chance to rebuild. I’ve not been in weeks.

I went today more as a piss up than anything but performance was great. Burton won’t get many more points. Loft has has showed he’s an ok player today when puts a shift in, Grant as well. If we back them we COULD stay up. It’s a big could but I honestly think we have a chance (could be the gin)

He will be very important to us IF work out how to play to his strengths, which by the sounds of it, may have been the case today. He might not score another goal this season, but if he gets us up the pitch and makes space/chances for Wilson, Chizzy & Garrity then great.

Watching today I think we can do it. He played well. The issue is finishing and hopefully that goal gives him the confidence to score. We did well today, far better than them. I’ve put my money on us staying up (I’m usually wrong but I think we can do it) like you say his role is about bringing others into the game and for me the likes of garrity and chissy have had an easy ride and need to turn up.  They’re very good players and need to show it much more than they are Chislett especially. I think we will stay up.

We played 3 at the back didn’t we?

It’s not a bad formation. It’s getting the right 3 and the right intensity. We got it right today. They are worse than us and won’t get many more points. This is it now. Cuntfroft is gone, let’s back the lads as much as we can. I’m the most negative poster and here and I honestly feel we can go this. Get behind them our two worst players this season looked decent; loft and Grant. Up the vale

    100% this.

Anyone who thinks Carol should sell up: 1) has no idea what they are talking about, 2) doesn't have the best interests of the club, 3) is a wind up merchant.

We literally could not have a better custodian of the club.

I don’t agree. Yes I think she has the interests of the club. But there’s no way you can say she is without blame for this season. It’s been a <ovf censored> disgrace. Publicly backing DF, the letter saying fans are wrong these aren’t signs of the ideal custodian.

I think you are way off the mark.

IMHO we have a superb owner and to just say 'sell up and go' is hugely insulting to the person who has ...

Saved our club from extinction ... it was a queue of 1.

Spent over £10M on the infrastructure and purchase.

Made PVFC into one of the most community respected clubs in football.

Comments like that say to me you have no understanding of the 'low life' (putting it mildly) the fans have had to oust from the club this past decade or more. I for one would choose relegation this season but retain a brilliant owner to putting the club up for sale and repeating the circle of arseholes who have owned PVFC previously.

I do think the comment is too far off the mark personally

Saved our club, great. I do think someone else would have come in for us if need be.

10m, yes, in loans from synetics.

Community clubs, when push comes to shove, who cares? We are a football club. The aim is to win football games, to honest everything else isn’t particularly relevant. Let’s concentrate on getting the product on the pitch correct and then look at off the field issues.

On your last paragraph. I’m sorry but I 100% fail to see how Carol is a brilliant owner. We have either not spent in league 1 because we don’t have the budget. Or she has blindly backed David Flitcroft. Either way her mentioning she thinks we will survive because on of the coaches wives says so, appointing her son to CEO or that abomination of letter convince me she isn’t a brilliant owner at all.

My view is that she’s a decent owner who has the club genuinely at heart and has been mislead by people she trusted. I don’t not agree with her son being CEO and I did not like her letter. I do think she is right to take us forwards and very happy she has finally (a year too late) seen sense. But I cannot agree that in any way shape or form, Carol is a brilliant owner.

Flitcroft leaves. Club statement says the "decision has been made mutually". Anybody believe that?

No. I think she has finally listened to the vale fans. Finally. The guy was a complete Parasite on the club. We will be in league 2 next season but at least we can start again and let Darren have a good crack at it.

  11. Up to big dazza now. Let’s see a reaction Saturday. I’ve been extremely disappointed with the performances under him, for me he’s been a downgrade on Crosby. Let’s see what he and the lads can do Saturday.

  12. Just seen the news. Brilliant news for the club. Will give us a big boost next season and allow us to rebuild. Delighted. Guy was complete and utter vermin from minute 1 sacking every good employee. Good riddons.

  13. Over and out from me. Can’t hack following this side until something drastic changes and that <ovf censored> is gone. Hate everything about this side. Moore is useless. Players are useless.

See you all in few months hopefully when he’s gone.
