If that’s the case then Moore falls into that as well. Let’s not lay any blame with the owners or DF then…. I’d love to know what utter <ovf censored> you can imagine up to lay blame with Clarke for this season

Darren Moore hasn’t exactly thrived above league 2

Extremely irrational from day 1. Beyond embarrassing

Looked a decent signing on paper. My mate is a Wigan fan and loved him. Have to say he’s one of the worst players I’ve seen down the vale. Delighted he’s gone. -
Why? Moore has managed at the highest level. Who else would we get? Not sure that it means anything. Lot of dreadful managers have had a short stint at that level for one reason all another. Alls I know, is that Moore has to drastically improve to convince me. Tactically he’s been woeful thus far.

Most signings we will make will be frees which is generally the norm at this level

Madden would be a great signing on a 1 year contract. I’m sure there are sides that will give him a 2 year deal though and they would be preferred. Dont think we should be offering players of his age more than 1 year -
It’s fine as long as we arrange enough appropriate friendlies, not like last season.

An evening with DM & Matt Hancock - Thurs 2nd May

I like that the club has finally started admitting and rectifying mistakes. Shame it’s taken them so long to wake up. It’s been obvious for a long period of time.- 316 replies

Yeah I’ve seen. Isn’t it like 1. Something % that bounce straight back. We’ve just got to be competing around that top 7 I think. Don’t want us just treading water in the bottom half -

Matt Hancock needs to step up then. True, and if not that would be when Carol steps in and makes changes. This ‘new’ approach (Carol stepping back) can only be a positive IMO -

I’m still concerned with the manager. I feel he’s a manager that may have a good pull in the transfer window, but he just does not convince me tactically. We should be aiming to bounce back immediately especially with the rumoured budged, sadly I think they will settle for consolidating -

True, but then at some point the owner has to realise when people aren’t performing and step in. -

I did find it a bit laughable these comments from Moore that everything has to be right off the pitch, right structure ect for promotion. I thought we had this? Years have been spent putting this in place yet now it’s non existent. Not sure we had all the right structures in place when we were promoted under Adams? To me, it felt like deflection and an excuse ready for when we have a poor season. -

She deserved criticism for her blind loyalty to David Flitcroft, the numerous errors SHE made and the letter to fans that was produced. -

Why? His attitude isn’t great but he would be a level about league 2 Imo -

He’s probably not league 1 level anymore. Would do for one season in league 2 I think -

We wouldn’t have signed Bannan if we stayed up. There isn’t a chance of him coming here let’s be realistic. -

I don’t remember Crookes being that bad. Not to the level of Jones, Mills and Fitzpatrick -

That will have been tactical. No need for them to attack given they only needed a point -

Gibbons released by Bristol. I think I would take him at this level. I’m not one for ex players, but I think he could be a real asset to us. -
Personally I don’t think we committed to this youth academy approach, it was just the result of consistent horrible transfer windows. Realistically, other than Plant, the youth players shouldn’t have been close to the first team this season. Shorrock I like, he has a lot of potential, but needs a full season playing men’s football in non league, imo the same for lomax and walters. It’s a joke that these were involved in league 1 football and just result of David Flitcroft. Dipepa I would put in the same category but seems to have come on quite a lot recently, if we keep him, him and plant would be the only ones I’d want involved in the match day squads this season. Get the others a full season under their belt and come back next season with us
