What were our budgets last time we were promoted? I imagine we will have a very competitive budget this season. If Carol wants to bounce straight back to league 1 the budget would need to be similar to this season.

So the 17 games where he managed to get a grand total of 11 points and 10 goals is irrelevant? It’s been dire. I can’t think of one positive from his time. He’s going to get time clearly, jury is massively out for me though. Hopefully he can bring a lot of new faces in and show that he’s a decent manager.

11 points from 17 games is enough for it warrant it not being silly to want the manager gone. It’s an embarrassing record regardless of what players you are left with.

I didn’t rate Benning at all. Thought he struggled in league 2 to be honest and was fully behind letting him go. Shame the replacement was a step down from him though!

But I can’t remember us defending well for years, I just want a fresh start to be honest. He will do a decent enough job in league 2, not doubting that, I just want a change. No. We can judge him on 17 matches. It’s been utterly horrific. 11 goals and 10 points from 17 games with that run of fixtures is beyond bad. I literally don’t think it was possibly for him to do worse. Or do you want to judge him on a squad he build at Huddersfield? With his players? 3 wins in 23 games. Fabulous
