Absolutely love that. Best I've seen for a long while. Though the rather isolated Staffordshire Knot is missing [good thing, too, cos it's naff].

Have we signed anybody yet?
Well, somebody had to say it 😂😂!

Some reality??
That is the reality of football fans! Up one week, after a good result, then down the week after when you lose at home to the worst team in the league.

FC, how I read the report he was on that amount in L1 because someone had given him that contract the previous season when they were in the Championship. Therefore they had to honour the contract, so was it poor management of the football club.?
Possibly, PA, but he starred for them throughout the campaign and was THE major factor in their promotion. I think he could do the same for us in L2, even at 35, and he'd be worth £5k a week.
There's been examples of this kind throughout my lifetime, Bobby Collins at Leeds in the 60s, Dave MacKay at Derby, Gordon Strachan at Leeds immediately come to mind. Ron Futcher at the Vale!

Has somebody been taking Magic mushrooms!??
Bannan was on £27k a week during Wednesdays Promotion season. But he's 2 years older, now, and at the tail end of his career. I think £5k would get him, and he'd be worth that for the Vale.

Micky Adams calling him a coward in an interview after he got sent off and then not playing him for a while after probably contributed to that. He was definitely one who got away from us.
Yep, we could have built a team round him, which is pretty much what has happened wherever he's been.

Micky Adams didn't kick him out; he offered him a contract. Morsy was never going to resign because he did not feel his career would progress at the club.
That's not how I remember it, JRC. Adams made it pretty clear he didn't want him at the club, as I recall.

Can we re-sign the young man Micky Adams kicked out of the club, who has just captained Ipswich to the Premier League?

Won't get fooled again, eh?

Good goal but rank bad defending!

Cheered me up no end. Laughed out loud!

This is all rather depressing stuff. Time to take a break from OVF.

In case it's boring, watch this Rochdale move resulting in a goal by one Devante Rodney...

Come on Vale, finish this awful season with a positive!

Sounds like a great idea to me, Jean!

Chislett and Garrity probably won't play as they probably already indicated they want off planet Vale.
Loft probably will play, score, then put in a transfer request.
That's what the club are dealing with.
How do you know all this?

He did not lose money, you absolute clown.
He conned his way into being chairman of the club for very little investment. He then awarded himself a massive wage in doing so and then changed all the shareholder's t & c's so that he could not be removed.
He then was on a beach in the Caribbean, sticking his two fingers up to all the Port Vale supporters & all the shareholders, after being the only shareholder to get his little, pathetic investment back whilst the club went into administration because of his shabby leadership.
He is the biggest con man of them all.
Maybe him and Smurf should join forces and buy Tranmere Rovers to show us what we are all missing
Spain, not the Caribbean!

I think you're alone nowI might be alone here but i actually think that Sang would do a decent job in midfield in League 2- 2

Getting Cass League 2 ready for when the rest of his team mates join him.
Unless he's injured, he doesn't seem to be featuring much.

Didnt think you could sign free agents after the last Thursday in March?
Sounds to me that this is the first of the new signings for next year.

3 clean sheets in 4 is good progress. It's going down to the wire, methinks.

I feel 3 home wins & a point on the road may just be enough. Home wins are no gimme though our form at Vale park hasn’t been great this season.
Classic bit of understatement, there!
