It’s rather impressive we could make an appointment that would make fans pine for the days of andy Crosby.

I just want us to actually interview for the next manager. We’ve said it before but Carol and flitcroft seemed to think it was a point of pride that they didn’t. Twice. To give a five and half year contract without any recruitment process is just mind boggling. Great if you’re the person being employed but only one person to blame when it bites you on the arse and costs you an arm and leg.

Is plant injured?

Agree. Sang just isnt good enough. He’s not good enough for league two. What is mind boggling though, is that when he plays as wingback, its crystal clear to anyone that he can cross (not that we have anyone up front who can head a ball), but he is a liability defensively. So to see Moore put him at centre half on Saturday, two teenage forwards as wingbacks and lightweight midfielder as striker, it was no shock to anyone what the outcome was.

God help us. I don’t want someone who thinks that Tom sang is a centre half and Jensen weir is a striker to have any say in what players the club signs.

Nothing resembling a logical train of thought as usual

It’s been clear from day one that Moore is terrible. Clueless. Anyone who thinks Tom sang is a centre half needs to be relieved of their duties. I’ve never known a manager able to sabatage themselves so consistently as him. When we needed a new manager I asked for one thing. A thorough recruitment process. And for the second time in a row the owners bragged about not doing that as though it was a good decision and gave him a five year contract. One interview with the guy would have told you enough.

Shocking subs, poor game management and lack of any semblance of tactics in the second half. How on earth is sang still on the pitch, but he takes off plant and brings on garrity. Every team knows to exploit our right hand side, and they have done it twice today. On a different matter, do Northampton usually play glad all over or are they just being d***s.

I think thats going to be the case for every single game until the end of the season now.

My three thoughts on this; 1. Im surprised he stayed this long before going back to his family business. I wonder if carol was the one convincing him to stay before it became impossible. 2. We do need a DOF. But at least it gives them time to sort out a squad for league 2. 3. Does this put pressure on Moore now?

We won our last match without blaster. And had lomax and shorrock as fullbacks. Thomas never played and uche is terrible. Crosby also had Ojo, garitty, Clarke and jones all injured towards the end of his time as well. Im not saying Crosby was good, im saying Moore hasnt been any better, and for most of the games we look a lot worse.

When he had blaster and Devine. Though towards the end of his time he had a weaker squad and more injuries.

Of course, and he managed to win some. The last win was when blaster was injured and we also had to play shorrock and Lorax as wingbacks though, so it would be wrong to say it wasn’t still a poor squad.

I suppose the logic of the argument is that if people are saying you cant blame Moore for his god awful start as manager, because hes been lumbered with a terrible squad, then surly the same benefit of the doubt can be given to Crosby? He was working with the same restrictions.

Oh dear god. I know I was sceptical about DM before, but this isn’t helping. He thinks smith and yak are better centre defenders?

Wait. Wasn’t lopata injured? And yes, it was a known name to placate the fans. And probably to take the heat off flitcroft as any of the other names wouldn’t have done that. No recruitment process again too.
