    Not happy but still clapping.

How you applaud that week in week out, is beyond belief.

Some of those players are picking up 8 thousand pound a month.

So sadly, that is the definition of a “happy clapper”.

Nobody claps angrily. And if you clap even though you’re not happy then you’re robotic and accept the utter crap you’re given week in week out.

By clapping these robbing useless clowns on the pitch, and the club in general, you will never get the change we so desperately need.

    These performances are not acceptable.

Well the problem here is that the money that you have is not enough for quality food. The quality food is £500 and that’s why I came back with cheap, processed crap. You can sack me, to use your analogy but if quality simply costs more, it won’t happen regardless of who is employed.

That’s why I would sell up, because I don’t have the money to fund a quality product. That’s why an out of contract striker like Dwight Gayle was seen ultimately scoring for Derby today. We could never afford a player like that.

Derby have more money than us. They are more appealing than us. That’s just the sorry truth.

Using my analogy, at least come back with 5 good steaks! Minimum.

I will tell you now, Ryan Loft and Uche are on a combined 7000 pounds a week. Roughly. That’s a huge amount of money to throw down the drain on happy shopper beans.

Nonsense. The quality of the squad is a direct correlation of the money spent on it by her. If Flitcroft had blown loads of money in expensive flops, fair enough but Carol has bankrolled a squad, despite previous record attendances, cheaper than anything under Smurfwaite.

If I had 200 quid and told you that I want some good quality food and I said that YOU are in charge of sorting that for me, and you came back with processed crap cheap tinned rubbish, should I sell up my business or sack YOU?

Reading got deducted another two points this week, so every little helps

We’ve picked up three points on three occasions in the last 6 months.

    Let that sink in.

What sane supporting fan actually thinks we can get out of this?

And any fan who bangs on about supporting the lads. The 12th man. All that crap. They’re delusional.

    Derby will batter us.

We're doomed with the current set up ,

Like you say sumat doesn't feel right at the club , I smell a rat ,

I know it's the nuclear option but if carol.persists with Fraudcroft

She needs to sell up in my opinion

Cos Fraudcroft is going to take us  into oblivion  the majority of us need to keep making our voices heard and get him out of our club  , I'm  just feel so dejected at the moment, mate, UTV  .

She doesn’t need to sell up.

    She needs to wake up.

It will happen and Flitcroft will get fired. Sadly it will take time to understand that she’s been controlled.

  6. Nice to see Mr. Everything football doing his bit today by going for a walk to get 500 and odd quid for the foundation.

It’s virtue signaling at its finest.

Darren Moore stated in one of his interviews that he and “Dave” would leave no stone unturned and it’s 24 hours a day.

    Bull.

Carol claps like a seal. Dave stands there knowing he’s in control. Mr Narcissist strikes again.

The fans want him to do his <ovf censored> job. Not go walking for the foundation.

What an absolute mess this football club is in.

  7. I’ve just listened to Moores pre match interview about free agents.

    ”Me and Dave”

At this point I’m thinking he’s surrounding himself (Flitcroft) with shields to release the pressure.

    ”We tried”.

Same old <ovf censored>. Unsurprising. So there you go. We go into the remaining games with the crap we have.

As Vale fans you make your mind up and make your mind up quick. If you think it’s acceptable that Dave Flitcroft should be here and is doing a good job then good for you. But don’t moan in the summer when he oversees another transfer window.

Ive never known anything like this at all.
    Something does not stack up.

If we go down and Stoke also go down, he won't ever be able to attend a Vale game again.

    Oh he will mate.

    Thats what narcissists do.

    He will just get security.

And the way it’s going, Carol will be there holding his hand.

Im absolutely stunned at the whole mess. It hasn’t even crept in overnight. It’s been ongoing for 18 months or more.

He has bull crapped the fans. He has bull crapped the owner. And only one side can see it and the main side that needs to see it, flutters her eyelids at him and kisses his arse.

The strangest I’ve ever seen this club. Not the worst mate but good god this is one weird situation with their relationship, when the whole fanbase can see that his position is untenable.

It's a farce at this point. The evidence could hardly be any starker but Carol is in a parallel universe where every target has been met and the recruitment has been phenomenal.

Considering he’s the head of “everything football related” you are very correct. The evidence is overwhelming.

If this was a court of law, the jury would unanimously vote in favour of his sacking.

The man is an utter disgrace. And I’ll continue to say it. He’s a narcissist.

Where is the POWERFUL woman Carol once was?

    Where has that demeanor gone?

Why is she against the fans in defending him?

Why is she emotionally defending him in the valiant suite?

It is all the traits of being controlled by a narcissist.

Id happily tell him to his face as well but he would just laugh it off and ridicule me. And make me the victim.  It’s what they do.

At this very point in this football club, he is now the most evil person we have had since Norman.
And I would go as far to say that he is not far off Norman. And I don’t say that lightly.

    18 months of excuses.

This is getting silly. True fans will be getting angry.

Iv obviously been hitting the forward momentum tablets tonight - don't worry Spunky, normal service will be resumed in the morning when I wake up wearing my Mr Grumpy pants 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    All opinions are good.

    All facts are damning.

Its beyond a joke now where Flitcroft has left us.
Carols next “open letter” should be a teary one as she realises the mess she has caused and the gaslighting she has had by this man.

    David.
For the the love of the club. Clear your desk. You are not wanted by THOUSANDS of long time supporters.

Flipping heck - im beginning to think I am back in happy clapper mode here - Dunna shout at me, but...................................I thought we played as well as we have done for months tonight.

More solid at the back - well done on changing the system

Pretty quick on the attack - these players are without a doubt trying (yes, I know, very trying 🤣🤣)

Midfield - mmmmmmmm, still seem to get by-passed easily, but thought Jenson Wier offered a lot going forward

Ryan Loft - ran his socks off again - get off his back you lot

The match was lost when DJ went off - Connor Grant is no full back, and until DJ went off, he had Azizz (whatever his name was) pretty much under control

Two massive home games Sat/Tues and I can well see us getting 4 out of 6 points

And no, this isn't even an alcohol induced wave of hysteria

Well done to all the Beautiful Bouncing Valiants, hope you have all got home safe (and gone to bed in a sulk)

Dont want to comment on off the field, as its beyond a Benny Hill sketch, but well done on the bring a mate for free👍👍👍  but equally a deal for the two matches as well would have been ace for those of us without any mates - 2 matches for 30 spunky spondulas would have been mucho appreciated - might go down the ticket office and put a cheeky bid in

    Love the optimism.

Call you out on one point. Serious question….. You can see us getting 4/6 points from the next two games.

We have only managed two points from our last 8 games and in our last two games we have lost both and the opposition goalkeeper hasn’t had a save to make.

By all means have optimism but don’t let the obvious facts delude your delusion.

Jones off injured means it will probably be Grant at left back on Saturday. One of the worst players I’ve seen up here who is robbing a living.

Then we will all get to see Loft “run around” for a good 70 minutes at least, only to see him not trap a ball, pass a ball or score for another week.

    Rinse and repeat.

The Reading commentators at times tonight said how we were keeping the ball. And it’s fans like you that get deluded in that aspect because we do absolutely nothing with it!!!

Each to their own mate but we are an absolute shower of garbage.

This sounds mad but I’d rather have a 38 year old Tom Pope for the last 15 games than that clown Loft. And Uche. I know it would never ever have happened but I’d take Popey now, playing for Witton Albion is he????…. On a two month contract of 1k a week with huge bonuses over Loft and Uche that we are forking 7k a week plus for.

Said it before. Will continue to say it until Carol wakes the <ovf censored> up and that’s why I’ve come back on this site, but what a <ovf censored> disgraceful mess the DOF has left us with. Let alone the amount of Carols money he has spunked along the way.

Asking whether moore can keep us up is an unfair question but ask if you think flitcroft will take us down you'll say yes? Bit confused by that but my point is anyone who last week thought Moore could save us but doesn't now because we've lost 2 games in less than a week of his being in the job needs to give their head a wobble.

I never said or thought Moore could save us.

I saw the recruitment in the summer, didn’t get carried away by nicking 5 wins early on and always maintained that to have a decent season we need striking options.

When we still didn’t get that in January it didn’t surprise me and put the nail in the coffin.

It’s totally unforgivable what Flitcroft has done. Totally and interlay unforgivable.

Read my post the other day on the “average fan”.

We couldn’t care less about anything other than a match day. And the squad has deteriorated ridiculously fast since that play off final.

Another thing. Isn’t Moore now Carols 4th manager since taking over in 5 years? Askey. Clarke. Crosby. Moore. Those last three got around 13 years contracts between them?

Look mate. If something doesn’t look right it invariably isn’t.

This club is an absolute basket case right now and quite frankly I wouldn’t trust Carol Shanahan as far as I can throw her.
For all the good she has done, something does not add up and the red flags are flying for me.

What was your reaction to Moore's appointment?

My reaction was one of surprise at a 5 and a half year contract. But ultimately I was thinking it was too little too late for a proper manager to come in. The cynic in me would say they got him in to take the heat off Flitcroft. Because if we had appointed Mark Kennedy for example then there is no honeymoon period.

Do I think he’s a good manager? Yes I do.

Do I think he’s walked into a <ovf censored> show of a football club who haven’t the foggiest idea what to do in footballing terms? Yes I do.

Do I think he will damage his reputation here under Flitcroft? Yea I do. Look at the hand Crosby was dealt. And I’m not saying he was anywhere near good enough.

Do I think he will keep us up? It’s the wrong question to ask and an unfair one.

Do I think David Flitcroft will take us down? Yes I do.

The buck stops with him and the mess he’s made. In all of my years going from the 80s, to not go into a season and a half with at least two goalscoring strikers is absolutely criminal.

I don’t like arguing with my fellow vale fans but Christ almighty, it’s there for all to see.

Blind faith and getting behind the lads isn’t going to get us out of this mess! We are beyond saving. Bar an absolute miracle. That’s my head talking. You’re going with your heart and that’s a bad disappointment to have to deal with.

Are you thick? Read what I’ve put.
You can put Pep in charge of this shower and he wouldn’t keep us up.

    Wake up.

  16. 3 minutes ago, Portvale4 said:

I never said he was good. I am just pointing out that he showed a bit of grit and determination, a willingness to get on the ball and cause a bit of bother.

As much as I love Willo, he’s been absolutely woeful lately. Then you’ve got the likes of Grant, Massey & Ojo just strolling around the pitch with no care in the world.

Just look at Cheltenham. You could argue, on paper, they have a worse squad than ours with not as many “better” individuals, but they make that up in hard work and desire.

My point stands, Loft looks arsed and that is more than most of that squad currently.

I said it after Saturday that yes he’s looks arsed but probably be better going do the 1500 metres.

Hes never anywhere near the football.

He can’t make it stick. He can’t beat a man. He never has a shot on goal. And all for over 3k a week.

We have two striker places in a matchday side at most. Why fill one with him? Because he runs? Good lord.

A week ago everyone was hailing the appointment of Darren Moore as a masterstroke. A week is obviously a long time in football.

A week ago, fans were living in blind hope he’d be able to get a tune. They still knew the problems. None of this lies at Darren Moores door. It lies at the door of the DOF.

Because I’ve seen enough on this site over almost 20 years, to know that if you are an employee of the club, (which is what’s being said) you’ll get found out and hounded out.

So shush the <ovf censored> up.

We all know ability wise he’s not good enough. But who else do we play 😂 we don’t have any other options, James Wilson isn’t good enough either & Baylee dipepa! And big Uche, none of them are good enough they haven’t scored more than 5 goals between them all season. It’s atrocious, I said beginning of the season our strike force won’t bag 10 between them all season. I didn’t actually think it would happen! I knew they wouldn’t score many but 5 between the 4 of them is pathetic. If loft didn’t play Wilson would have & he doesn’t score enough goals even if he is more talented. Only other option is garrity up top but he didn’t even look fit he looks way off still after his injury. What a mess mate

At this point either stick a centre back up top (ala Peter Swan back in the day) or the DOF pulls his finger out and gets in a free agent.

I’m going to hold my hands up, as I was wrong to criticise a certain player on Saturday - I targeted Ryan Loft, and used him as an easy scapegoat to vent my frustration. He ran his bloody socks off tonight and actually looked arsed. He’s evidently no where near League One standard but at least he’s putting up a fight.

He was crap. He’s there as a striker on 3k a week plus.

I can run still at 43. Doesn’t mean I should be a Port Vale number 9.

His miss from the Chislett cross was unforgivable.

If you want someone who can run I’d suggest go to Northwood stadium.

Come on. It’s not hard to see he’s absolutely utter garbage, robbing a living and isn’t the answer to get us goals with 15 games to go.

  21. Player wise tonight.

Tom Sang. Jason Lowe. Ryan Loft. All take a long look at yourself in the mirror. And ask yourself, are you a professional footballer.

Loft is awful. Just keep him off the park. He isn’t going to get us any goals to keep us up so as a supposed striker we are carrying him.

Lowe is garbage as a midfielder. Just go to Moore and say “gaffer my legs have gone.

Sang ain’t much better. Stick him at right back. He’s crap. Stick him at wing back. He’s crap. Nowhere else to go for him. He’s just crap.

May as well put Lowe at right back going forward. He’s the best of a bad bunch. Garrity up top. And then put Mr Blobby in the middle of the park if he’s still about, over Lowe.

Honestly. I mean….. What an absolute <ovf censored> mess Carol has got us in!!
