Jensen Weir out of contract now.
Not that I’d personally want him but considering Moore kept bringing him on and starts him today, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was one of the first players to sign.- 1

Season done.
As pathetic a season as I’ve ever witnessed.
Thankfully the likes of Loft, Grant and Massey weren’t in show to pierce everyone’s eyes of their utter crapness.
Big rebuild.
I actually think Moore is the man to do it.
From Derby, Portsmouth and Bolton to one of Solihull, Bromley or Altrincham. It is what it is.
A final point on season tickets. How the hell can anyone commit to one when 5 games in league 2, every week, will be live on sky? That meaning no Saturday 3pm games. That’s almost half the league that will be shipped to other times and days every week! So anyone buying a season ticket, don’t moan when you can’t attend on a Saturday dinner, Saturday evening, sundays, Monday night or Friday night.

A lot of it will come down to length of contracts. I can’t see us paying all the contracted players off. Some of those players will be fine in league 2, if only as second choice.
All of those mentioned, apart from Sang, are on over 2k a week.
Somehow we’ve got to ship them out. To have players who can’t cut it in league 2, on 2k plus a week, is a recipe for disaster.
Thankyou Mr. Flitcroft and Thankyou Mrs Shanahan for this total mess.
She has a hell of a summer rebuild because of her inability to keep her eye on the ball.
It is what it is.

I honestly think we should extend Lofts contract.
Give him two more years. And work with him.
Come 2027 we may get 5 goals from the bloke.
Give Massey an extension as well. Loved watching him this season. Full of goals and assists.
Glad we’ve got Ojo for 3 more years. I mean when the going gets tough you really want someone in the trenches like that lad!
Keep Debrah on. Another yard on that long throw and he’s a huge asset.
Iacovitti. “The Yak”. Give him 5 years. Silky smooth on a football. Can do things other footballers can’t. No, seriously. He actually can.
Grant. 3500 quid a week is a snip! A wand of a left foot. Sadly it’s stuck up Sootys backside.
Uche is definitely the way forward. He will come back as a monster truck in another life. Only he will probably mow over the fans.
Tom Sang. If football was karaoke he wouldn’t get another song again. Sang enough.
And Smith. 400 games. Here’s to the next 400. Because this club is absolutely going somewhere with a captain like him. He will be a world beater at pinching his strikers back in league 2.
For those knocking Darren Moore he will know what he’s been given and what we have to work with next season.
He’s here for the summer and he is going to build his side.
I’ll be amazed if anymore than 1 of those are in his plans for next season.

Well the letter shows rather more contrition than the last one, but Darren Moore knows nothing about league 2 does he?
My personal view is that the league cup game against Mansfield showed we could have a strong team for league 2 with the right new faces brought in. I can’t imagine another bottom end Aspin era style showing.
They had an off night with their star player out injured.
We had Alfie and Ollie. Take them out of our side and you have seen what you’ve got.I was there that night. Singing Stags are falling apart again.
It’s time we owned our own failings. Not only have we fallen apart we have been broken into pieces and Mansfield will be having the last laugh tonight.
And rightly so. -

You see, when you royally <ovf censored> up in life (and we’ve all been there) you are normally held accountable to a handful of people. She’s accountable to thousands who have loved this club long before she was around.
That statement is like a fella begging his Mrs to stay, with a big speech about how he’s sorry for cheating and look at how much I love you.
There’s no disgrace in owning your <ovf censored> ups in life.
One single sorry followed by how much I love you just doesn’t wash.A better statement would have been how sorry she was in taking her eye off the ball. How sorry she was for giving Flitcroft those windows and allowing him to dictate the club. How sorry she was for not fixing things like the toilets in the paddock whilst yards away she eats prawn sandwiches with Robbie Williams. How sorry she was for getting rid of good people at the club who were at the heart of our play off success. How sorry she was for royally <ovf censored> up this football club when the fans were <ovf censored> telling her 18 months ago!
Her promises and words now mean nothing.
Honeymoon period well and truly over.- 6

I’m sorry but that’s just virtue signaling political waffle.
And please don’t state that you’ve always put the football side of things first because it’s a blatant lie.
Even on our relegation day she mentions the community.
Just get the summer right. Get proper footballers on the pitch. Real men with fight passion and skill. And stop making empty promises.

Isn't that what you want from a defender in league two ?
No.
He played 40 odd games in the season we finished 20th in that league!Conor Hall made him look silly in the year we got promoted.
Positionally he’s a liability and has been an absolute banter captain.
He’s played 400 games for the club and will never ever be anywhere near legend status. That says it all.

Who is up for the title next season ?
Me.
Just need 3 full backs, 3 central defenders, 3 midfielders, 3 wingers, 4 strikers and maybe a goalkeeper.
No problem.

Maybe keep Ripley too but he isn’t the Manuel Neuer clone he seems to think he is.
I’ll say it now….. If the academy lads stay and we go into next season with Dipepa, Lomax, Shorrock, Plant, Walters etc, as regular starters, we will be in for a long hard season battling for our league status.
Those lads, maybe not Dipepa, need to be on loan to national league north teams.
To gamble on those kids will be just that. A huge gamble.
We need a proper football team of men next season to fight at the right end of the table.- 14

Were you saying that during promotion season? And every other L2 season for that matter?
L2 is his level and guess where we are next season… He can still do a job for us.
I’ve been saying it for 7 seasons or so.
Let’s not make out that he’s a great defender even in league 2. Because he’s not.
If he was put on the transfer list who would come in for him?
He can kick a ball. Head a ball. And use the dark arts. Beyond that he’s crap. -
A must keep is Garrity.
I wouldn’t like to see Chislett leave.
If Ripley leaves I’ll have mixed feelings.
Any of the others can get in the bin.

Smith is a victim of circumstance. For him to be on this list is harsh, imo.
He can do a job for us in L2 but I would like to see us bring in CBs better with the ball if DM intends to carry on playing out from the back.
He’s garbage.
Best he moves on for both parties. He will never ever improve from here on in.

It hasn’t been only a bad season. It’s been an atrocious 16 months.
From Garlick being tossed aside, to Clarkes sacking, to Flitcroft become all things football, to Crosbys boring tippy tappy crap, to a cup run we got caught up in despite playing anyone of significance, to three shambolic transfer windows, to relying on loan players and kids, to giving Flitcroft another January window and yet again no striker in sight, to sacking Crosby who should have been gone months before, to then sacking Flitcroft who should have never taken over the football side in the first place, to the embarrassing pathetic open letter from Carol, to her even more embarrassing pathetic these players are phenomenal speech, to Flitcrofts relegation isn’t in my vocabulary arrogance , to god awful players, to Darren Moore who quite frankly I’ve no idea what his philosophy is, to no bogs in the paddock, to the cringeworthy “El Presidente”, to the arrogance of the entire hierarchy of our proud football club of 148 years.
Shame on you all.
Disgraceful season.
Anyone who actually turns up next week needs to see a doctor.
The fans don’t deserve League 2 football.
The club and those associated on the payroll do.Pathetic Vale.
Pathetic.- 17

As it currently stands we have conceded 87 shots in just less than 6 games.
Marvelous stuff.

Apart from Peterboroughs goal in the first half it’s a replica of that.
4 parked buses. Deeper than a sea diver. No focal point up top to counter. It’s a game of attack and defence.
Should be 4 down. The outcome is inevitable.

Happy relegation day.
You poor fuckers who are going and wasting your money on the worst Vale team in generations, should be wearing black suits.
First away game of the season we got done 7. Last away game of the season might just beat it.
Id like to thank Andy Crosby for his dull tippy tappy, nicey nice crap football.
A big shout out to Carol Shanahan who puts all her energy into Port Vale Community Centre.
And let’s not forget the scumbag that is David Flitcroft. Who managed to assemble the worst, most pathetic, most effortless squad in Port Vales history, over the course of three glorious transfer windows, and got away with it.Go out there lads and show your worth. And may most of you be <ovf censored> off out of this club next season you absolute bunch of bottle job no hopers.

Still raw after a year? Sorry, but are you related to the guy or have you gone soft? What will be raw is the feeling I’m likely to have at full time tomorrow barring some sort of fluke, not an ex-employee, albeit well regarded, from a year past.
It’s raw because of how it was done and our demise since.
I don’t know the man personally but how he went from Carols go to guy, to leaving alone on the pitch, within 24 hours, should have sent red flags to everyone.
We are down.
The feeling I will have tomorrow won’t be anything near as the anger I had when Flitcroft and Crosby continually overstayed their welcome at this club.Almost all could see it. Apart from the person that matters.
Bolton to score 4 or more tomorrow is 5-1.
To score 5 or more is 12-1.
To score 6 or more is 28-1.Lump on all three and there’s your season ticket for next season.

And on a final point of the season as a whole….. Uche and Loft. Don’t be angry the fans have been on your back. You’re crap. Be thankful that your bank balance is massively enhanced through being that crap. You’ve made a great career on being crap. So take the positives. I never saw any lack of effort.
Grant, Massey, Ojo, take a long hard look at yourselves.
All have pedigree and aren’t fit to lace the boots of Uche and Loft. Due to your disgusting lack of effort over the season. And that says it all. Certain players will always be welcome back to vale park. The three of you have stunk the joint out all season.
