Joe, we will only know come the end of the season, whether it’s been a master stroke or a self inflicted disaster. In my case and others it’s the inept performances on the pitch that are getting ppls backs up. If we had a poor squad that battled and lost fair enough, but we seem totally bankrupt of ideas. I stated that I thought we’d survive the drop but I think I’ll have to reconsider my opinion, with others around us strengthening in their forward ranks. If we do go down the financial impact will be massive. We’ve been riding the wave since Carol took over however the wave has certainly reached its peak. No one wants the club to go out of business by over spending, but get things right on the pitch or the oxygen of the club, the fans, will be reduced greatly. Reduced number of fans, reduced food and drink sales, reduced merch sales and sponsorship. I know I’m quoting the obvious but I’m very disappointed.

VB, I’d prefer silence, that’s become the norm from the club. I wouldn’t believe anything that comes out of the club anymore. The fans who pay to enter the ground are being mugged off. We sign no one, possibly because we have no money, however do we have any decent players, we’ve signed enough and don’t make profits from our transfers.

We don’t need to spend more net to get out of this league, we’ll be out at the end of the season, just the wrong way.

Getting rid of Tommy won’t free up any cash he’d just signed his first pro contract. Burnley’s academy is at a higher level than that of ours, so good luck Tommy, So he’s gone to play boys football, when we all say that young players need to play men’s football to improve, hence all the lads who go out on loan to L1 and L2 clubs. You can’t have it both ways. I just hope that in the next 2.5 hours they pull off a miracle because it seems like we’re just selling what we own and renting replacements.
