  1. Sorry to go back to a previous point earlier this week but…. From the kick off tonight Man City kicked it directly to the GK and he kicked long. If it’s good enough for Pep it will do for me.
  2. I have my doubts about Hudlin. I expect us to go in a different direction with the Striker rather than a big lad to hold the ball up. With Weir and Gore coming into the team I expect us to revert back to more build up play rather than being a little more direct to Uche. Just me reading between the lines.
  3. I really feel it would be beneficial for you to do a deep dive into club and re-evaluate your expectations. Questioning where money has gone and your striker suggestions tells me you have missed what’s been going on for the past 3 years or your not listening.
  4. Do you not think the current squad is enough to stay up?
  5. Where does that leave Grant? He's been underwhelming for me, so if he's ousted by a loan this window can see him moving on in the summer (think he's under contract?) He’s not going to be ousted. It’s going to be a young lad with his 1st loan who will be cover and provide a change of pace 2nd half if needed.
  6. Some will I think we could all name at least 1 poster😂😂😂
  7. Sounds like 2 loans to come and we are done. LWB and ST. Cant argue with that.
  8. I can’t believe Charlie Kirk is still not fixed up. If budget allows one to go and get after the transfer deadline for me.
  9. Just read Fleetwood captain Josh Vela has signed for Carlisle. The optics of that don’t look good when you sell your captain to a relegation rival. Gives me hope a deal could be struck with them.
  10. I'm looking forward to your rallying call Saturday morning!!
  11. Agree mate. No way we are done. Still need a ST on loan and a permanent LWB for me. Given the number of inexperienced players in our squad, regardless of ability or potential, I don’t feel it’s practical to rely on Shorrock to deputise for Grant especially if things get tight towards the bottom 4. Our loan business is great but we have to focus on the short/medium term goals as well with a permanent signing.
  12. You articulated that far better than me. Great post.👏👏👏
  13. I told Carol after Oxford Utd away Ollie Blaster was the best loan signing and one of the best players I’ve seen in 40 years watching Vale. If the new lads on loan from Liverpool and ManUtd …. Just let that sink in a minute….. if they are as good on paper in L1 I may have to reconsider. It really is unbelievable how we have attracted these lads this season. Flickers PowerPoint must have subliminal messages but the proof is in the pudding, with the way we have helped and developed Blaster and Alfie must be a very big selling point. And to a lesser degree Balmer. Looked class and calm until he made a mistake and never shook it off, looking a liability. Palace now know more about the player and his levels now so they can act accordingly.
  14. We even get the analytics for Dan Gore.
  15. Spot on mate. I was about to make the same point to LS that it gives you the advantage to push higher ip the pitch. Yes. Proc battled 50/50’s but didn’t do much. It was interesting to see he wasn’t hanging out wide which he did so often for us. Clearly a DC tactic. Whitfield played and I thought he had a dreadful game. Looked very poor player.
  16. I watch Barrow pass it directly to the GK on Saturday. The ball was played back to Paul Farman and he launched to Proc. Barrow basically play like a Rugby Union team playing for territory. Farman also took all of the free kicks in the Barrow half. I guess they are using the strengths of the player. With respect you will not see a GK at lower non league levels with the same ability to kick it like a Farman or Ripley so would be pointless a direct pass to the GK from kick off.
  17. I know thats why they need to offload. Looking at it logically nobody else is going to be interested at his current wage. I don’t see any of the top sides in this league wanting him so he would need to move on at a reduced salary unless Wrexham are interested. I also heard they are shopping Jayden Stockkey around, another high wage earner. It maybe one or the other or it could be they need both players to leave to remove to reduce operating costs. Same as with Reading we have to be opportunistic with clubs in need.
  18. Fleetwood reportedly looking offload Jack Marriott. Would be an excellent signing for us if in my opinion if we could negotiate wages. Perhaps Fleetwood could pay his remaining contract would help us😀
  19. I like him Ging, pace running in behind, very agile, going to cause bit of chaos with nobody really knowing what he’s doing next and can clearly hold the ball up…in his mouth. Sign him up.
  20. It doesn't bother me because they are loans at the end of the day. I just have an issue with season long loans which I think is a bit of a farce. If we can compliment Gore and Weir with a loan striker and a couple of permanent signings at WB that would be a good window for me despite losing Blaster and Devine.
  21. On paper that is a tremendous signing and shows how far the club have progressed in 18 months.
  22. It's very easy to compliment the opposition when you've just beat them..... not so easy when you've lost.
  23. We can’t believe the Mirror… Dan Gore to Vale and Liam Brazier to Barcelona!
