Fantastic year for boxing both commercially and bout wise. Here's hoping for another decent year of quality fights.
Fight of the year - Aj/klitschko fantastic bout also GGG/Canelo despite the controversial ending.
Boxer of the year - Linares for me. His fights with Crolla and Campbell were fantastic.
Best breakout Boxer - Conor Benn his last fight said it all! Huge career ahead of him and no doubt he will face Eubank Jr in the near future
Worst Fight -Mayweather/McGregor over rated and overhyped like many predicted
Hopefully Brooks and Degale will get some much needed victories this year also looking forward to Bellew beating Haye again and Groves/Eubank Jr

Big one tonight, going for GGG on points, he will out box Canelo just like he did David Lemieux, GGG has to keep away from Canelo's uppercut. The weigh-in was intense.
I see Billy Joe Saunders wants to fight the winner, we'll see if he's true to his word or whether he will go after another middleweight without a real KO punch.
And what a fight that was ! Both fighters did well but GGG won that , how the judge gave it a draw I'll never know. On the plus side here's hoping we get a rematch

I see Manny lost in quite a interesting way , didn't see it myself though i have read online the judges were in favour of Horn and he headbutted manny a few times . Quite sad to see this as a few years ago manny was for me the best fighter in the world and should have fought Mayweather years ago if Floyd wouldn't keep putting the fight off knowing he had a real chance of getting Knocked out.
Speaking of Floyd , all of a sudden everyone loves boxing now as this circus of a fight draws closer with Mcgregor .
All about GGG vs Canelo for me , very excited to see the two best fighters go at it.
Also rumours of Bellow possibly fighting Ward which would be interesting

Andre Ward and Sergei Kovalev 2 takes place in Vegas tomorrow. IMHO Kovalev was robbed in the first fight and should have won, I doubt he'll let it go to the judges a second time.
Really looking forward to The Ward - Kovalev fight . That's if i can manage to stay up for it !
I was working during the Paul Smith fight though i heard he lost , did you manage to watch it ? how did he do ?

Felt gutted for Brook though he made the right decision to stop and for me i can't see him coming back , he has never recovered from that serious eye injury he suffered from the Golovkin fight. Also big praise for Spencer who is gonna be a big name in boxing and a big well done to Groves who finally became a world champion in his own right.
Eubank Jr fight next. A talented fighter who sadly has a Ego and a poor management choice in his father which will do worse for his career then it will good

Big fight for Kel Brook this Saturday in his own Turf at Bramall lane , decent undercard with Groves also fighting and if he wins likely to get a rematch against Degale .
I'm more excited for Canelo - Golovkin then the Joshua Fight ! speaking on Joshua with fury still being delayed by the committee the only logical fight would be Wilder at Vegas maybe ?

What a great weekend of sport coming up, the boxing, the Vale, The Masters, Grand National, nothing done in our house Thurs-Sun......as usual.
Also got Terry Flanagan fighting tonight , hopefully be a decent bout against Petrov. I see BT now own the rights to Boxnation and BT Sports viewers can get Boxnation on a thirty day free trial

Chisora-Helenius II confirmed for May was really hoping for Chisora get a rematch against White as the last bout was fantastic.
Brook and Errol Spence also confirmed for May. Been some amazing fights already this year and more being added.

I'm sick of hearing about both Mayweather/McGregor now ,both great fighters in their respective sports but only reason the media is hyping this "super fight" is because both are attention seeking and greedy and want more money despite being millionaires already.
Anyways back to proper Boxing , Crolla Linares II this Saturday should be a decent bout , I fancy crolla to just edge it

Also noticed Michael Conlon won tonight . now known as the Conor McGregor of boxing. shame they had to keep going on about this alleged super fight between Mayweather and McGregor which i still don't think will happen instead of a young Boxer pro debut.

IMHO it was the right decision, Compubox showed GGG landed more punches and he certainly landed the harder ones, tremendous galant performance by Jacobs.
I thought the shocking decision of the night was Chocolatito's loss to the "Thai guy" (can't remember his name).
I thought Jacobs Out boxed him to be honest. Golovkin certainly wasn't at his best. I wonder if this sets up GGG vs Alvarez ?
Was that the Gonzalez fight ? my kodi box froze prior to the fight and eventually came on.I knew there was a shock as they were talking about it for a while

GGG remains unbeaten even though Daniel Jacobs deserved to win that.I'm a big fan of Golovkin but that was a shocking decision.

IMHO, Khan has an over bloated view of his worth and ability, great boxer and hand speed but little use when your chin is made of wafer thin glass. TV stations only show him 'cause he's often in a dramatic KO fight, problem is when he meets an elite boxer it's him that's KO'd and he certainly will be KO'd if he fights Thurman.
Completely agree . For the last god knows how long Khan has claimed he wanted to fight Hatton , Mayweather , Froch , Brook and now Manny and every one of them would knock him clear out just like Alvares did. Much rather see Thurman vs Manny to be honest though I'm not sure how an older Manny would do against a very quick Thurman who can also knock an opponent out.

Khan vs Manny is called off as Fury announces his return . I wonder who he will fight next . I know his cousin fights Joseph Parker soon. Wasn't to impressed with Parker in his last fight

If people enjoyed that hearn has won. A has been v someone who won a boxing licence out of a packet of kelloggs. Hearn has mugged you off, the hatred they spoke before the fight, the non entity of a fight and then the post match love in.
I thought after the match haye was going to get bellews cock out and start sucking him off if was so cringeworthy. Then bellew starts talking about how hes in control and everyone will want to fight him, joshua would beat the pair of them if the three of them fought at the same time.
Have a day off will ya mate , Bellow is a great fighter and has showed many times he can get the job done. That happens at every fight it's all for show and gets people interested , and the "post match love in" is fighters respecting their opponents after a fight and respecting the sport.
Anyways back on topic , Thurman Vs Garcia was a good fight and the right man won. Rumours stemming Degale VS Groves rematch may be on the cards though for me personally i rather see Degale get his rematch against Badou Jack

Agree on Bellew . I can't stand Haye he's so smug thinking he will walk into the fight with ease i get most boxers are like that but the man hasn't had a decent fight in years. I can't see it happening but i'd love to see Bellew knock him out

Eubank JR has won the IBO super middleweight belt , better fight then i expected to be honest though ITV coverage was awful , shame his ego is taking over, would love to see him square up to Glovokin or Brooks

Can't believe i fell asleep just before the Frampton fight ! i noticed on Sky sports news they were hyping a potential fight between Wilder and Joshua in future in vegas possibly . I can see this happening as i think Joshua will be beat klitschko at Wembley.

I can't stand Khan with his giant ego and yet when it comes to the big fights he bottles it and gets Ko'd so easy.
Golokin is a beast , i really wanted see how Eubank JR would fare against him shame hes fighting on that itv box office instead.
march seems a good month , especially for the Haye-Bellew fight . Haye is another one i can't stand fighting on a comedy channel against barely competitive fighters though this is a big step up for Bellew and will be a tough challenge for him . Head says Haye heart says Bellew

Also see Badou Jack vs Adonis Stevenson has been announced for this year. Jack has been on a fantastic run since beating Degale and I can only see him getting better with each fight
