Interesting bout tonight, Vergil Ortiz (18-0-0, 18 by KO) fights a Brit, Michael McKinson (22-0-0, 2 by KO) in Fort Worth, Tx. Don't know anything about McKinson but doesn't look to have much of a KO punch, needs to have a good chin.

I remember he beat the very highly rated Chris Kongo on points on the whyte-Povetkin II undercard. Certainly looks a good fighter. Should be a decent fight

Dalton Smith fighting tonight with Campbell Hatton on the undercard in the UK.

I believe Michael Conlon is also fighting but it's only been shown on US TV. Always fun to watch his fights

Superb performance by Danny Garcia last night, completely out boxed the bigger man in Jose Benavidez and showed he's not just a left hook.  What was the judge watching who scored the fight a draw, Mexican cartels at it again???? I know watching  on tv we get the chance to see replays but that decision was downright incomprehensible..

Funny you mentioned that. The judge who you mentioned also gave it jeff horn in his fight against manny pacquiao. That was a robbery

Can't help but think these judges are taking bungs

  3. Excellent fight between Ballam Smith and Chamberlain tonight. Proper slugfest and s great crowd for local boy Ballam

    Enjoyed that.

Same can't be said about this Josh Kelly fight. Sad to see drop down to Channel 5

    Garcia-Benavidez should be a cracker

Yep, Dominating performance by Garcia who threw some devastating body shots. Fortuna looked outclassed and out gunned to me.

Agree with what you say about Benn moving up to Middleweight to fight Eubanks Jr but is he fought the likes of Danny Garcia he'd have to be careful of Garcia's left hook, either Thurman or Garcia would be a good fight though and get him exposure in the USA.

I thought the problem was with Eubank Snr, Eubank Jr appears to be "Normal" person when I've seen him interviewed. The stories from Eddie Hearn when he's been trying to deal with Eubank Snr are unreal.

Apparently GGG vs Canelo III is being fought at Super Middleweight, unsure who that favors.

I think the problem with Eubank is he wants the big fights with Canelo and Golovkin but other then beating a past it Degale he's really not done anything to be a realt title contender. He's even trying to get a fight with Jake Paul now

Looking forward to the final fight and hopefully justice will prevail. I think this could be Golovkin last fight though unfortunately. One of my all time favourite fighters

Apparently Canelo wants a rematch with Bivol if he beats GGG.

Connor Benn v Chris Eubank Jr now also looks like more than just a possibility

Would dearly love to see that one

I think it's a risky move for Benn moving up weight so soon. I thought he might have gone for one of the US welterweights first like Thurman or Danny Garcia.

While Eubank is certainly no GGG I remember Brook saying going up to middleweight was a bad idea and not smart from his side especially with his first actual Middleweight bout being against Golovkin.

Still, I hope Benn knocks him out. Can't stand Eubank, he's desperate to be the star but Hearn or Warren won't touch him due his childish and diva like personality. Benn on the other hand is a hungry and aggressive fighter who loves a shoot-out when it comes to boxing and has all the attributes to be a world elite level fighter in my opinion.

  6. Joyce rumoured to be fighting Otto Wallin next. That's got Joyce winning on UD all over it

Wallin didn't even make the main card on sky last time but was on Facebook/youtube instead. Massive drop from fighting Fury in America

  7. Good win for Del Boy tonight. As I predicted Pulev made it scrappy and drag it till very end

Interesting to see Chisora call out Wilder. Personally think Wilder takes that . Be a good pay day for Chisora though one he deserves

  8. Chisora - pulev tomorrow

I'd love del boy to win but think pulev will drag it out till the end and get the decision.

On a 3 loss defeat also so del boy loses this one then it could be time to retire.

Decent undercard for a change. With Felix cash on there and the exciting soro both fighting

  9. Job done for Joyce. Both Joyce and Dubious now mandatory for the belts apparently

Although Joyce took way to many easy hits tonight luckily it was a lower opponent. Fury and Joshua would spot that out straight away

See that big Bro has put down a massive wager against Paul on Tommy winning

Makes it interesting    Dont rate either.

Looks like the fight could be pulled again due to Tommy unable to enter the states with visa issues

  11. Tommy Fury gets his fight with youtuber and general be##end jake paul in August.

Safe to say if he loses, he's getting put up for adoption.

Watching young Fury last time I wasn't impressed at all. I feel his boxing career will be a short stint before making his reality TV career a full time thing.

  12. Easy win for Nantwich born Nathan Gorman tonight.

    Wardley next perhaps.

Josh kelly on the undercard. Dominating as predicted. Sad to see him drop from sky and on a undercard to gorman in a very empty Liverpool arena on channel 5. And to think everyone said conor benn wouldn't stand a chance against him

Would like to have been excited by Riakpohre and Dubious victorys

But thought Bryan was very poor, and for all Riakpohre,s reknowned power he dose not not really impress me totally.

Should he encounter anyone of real quality it will be interesting.what he does as he tends to use his reach to hold people off before landing.

Lauren Price did a tidy job on her debut

But the G man getting out gunned by Chelli was the fight of th night for me.

Dubois fight was a shambles in terms of promoting. Trevor Bryan must have beaten bin men to be unbeaten that long. How that was a title fight I'll never know. Don King time is well and truly done and Frank Warren can't promote fighters to save his life ( Fury fights are normally promoted by Top Rank)

Sad sight to see. Even the commentators couldn't take it seriously

Looks like it was from a high school gym in the 90s

  14. Good scrap between Charlo and castro last night. Close fight till Charlo stopped him.

I saw the highlights to the Kovalev fight against Pulev young brother. Not a bad scrap. Interesting to see how Kovalev does at cruiserweight

The other Pulev fight was awful. Should have been stopped earlier on in my opinion.

Wasn't a bad night on channel 5 for boxing either. Gutted for Josh Kelly , opponent pulled out of the last minute due to a fine

Should be a decent fight next week between Buatsi and Richards. Buatsi toughest test in my opinion

  15. So Brook and now Khan both retired. Fair play to both fighters, fought the best and never backed down from a big fight ( other then fighting each other till this year)

Froch, Degale , Groves, Brook and Khan. End of an era really

I still refuse to believe Fury is done. They'll hype his return and throw loads of promotional videos/hype when he makes the "comeback" against Usyk or Joshua
