    You know Jack <ovf censored>

Never put money in or support the lads

But come on here making out you know it all and having digs at the owners

I’ve put on plenty in and been all over the country to “support the lads”. Not sure what that’s got to do with you though chopper.

The guy spouting off total rubbish, asking people to show proof that what he's saying is rubbish without any evidence from himself 🤣🤣🤣

You could not make it up

I’ve provided some sort of evidence above. You must have missed it. Yet nothing from those who think we are big spenders. Surely the team is evidence enough 😂

Check Sports salary they clearly show the wages of the Vale players in the top half of the league.

if you are going by that you are in trouble. 4th lowest wage bill in the league on there. Look it up.

Compare other teams in the league and show me the 12 teams we are higher than?

Only Carlisle, Cheltenham and Northampton with smaller wage bill.

Now I didn't get my information from here but it perfectly backs up what I was told at the start of the season by a source* close the club

*no I cannot tell you who it is

I dont often disagree with you WV but we certainly wont see that next season

    Only my opinion though

I am only going on recent history. We only just survived last season and rather than learning from our mistakes we tightened the purse strings again and now may suffer relegation becuase of that. I don't know why we would not keep repeating history.

Was it? We allegedly bid decent money for Luke Armstrong in the summer and Jake Young in January.  There were many times during the Rudge years when he was criticised for not spending windfalls quickly, ultimately it contributed to his sacking. The genius of Rudge was holding out to get value for money; the genius of Bell was trusting him to do so. Outside of league 2 we don't have the buying power to just buy success.

I believe our wage budget was in the bottom 4 in the league.

With a decent 12 goals a season striker we may well have won the last two games. Cheers for that DF.

Less than half of the teams in our league have a player that has scored 12 goals. Why should we, the team with one of the smallest budgets in the league possess one of those players? Df or no DF. Not one other team in the bottom half pretty much has one, who do they all thank?

I’m wondering when FFP will come into play regarding Wrexham and Stockport. I read last week that Wrexham FC are £9m in debt to their owners.

In league one and two owners can inject money to fund players as long as it isn’t in directors loans. The Oxford owners put in £2m a year to subsidise wages.

Dont we owe our owner some wedge ?

Thank god Flitcroft has gone. I’m sure he’d be getting all the praise for this one otherwise - youth academy graduate, England, scoring goals, Prem teams (allegedly) interested. He’d be unsackable

What a ridiculous post. Obviously if he was in charge of everything that touches a ball he should get some credit for this just like he got the mob after him for the first team failing.

Think you are referring to Rotherham and Wimbledon away in the promotion season.

The former still one of my most fondly remembered away days Boxing day 2012.

I agree that was one of the best away days! The lads dressed as the pope round the side of the pitch when we scored. My mate going doc martins up after the goal.

the other game we watched on tele in the saggars I seem to remember.

I personally feel Vale have left themselves with too much to do. It's going to take a massive run of wins in reality

The way you have worded this sentence isn't the way a Vale fan would have worded it?

If anyone wants an omen Lofty in the shooting practise warmup has nailed a couple of beauts. Less said about some of the attempts from the rest the better… god loves a trier though!

If the bookies knows their stuff then a £10 bet on Loft to score should clear the mortgage

  12. Great news. I wonder if this will unite the fans or if after we lose Saturday it will be same old. Who will be next to take the blame? I give it 3 months then it’s Moore’s turn. Then after that Carol in about September.

Dion Dublin to be next DoF (joke btw) imagine 😂

Front page article on here says simple solution and involves a P45. I think some people are going to be disappointed when nothing changes.

I aint got a clue what the players earn but I can tell u the managers wage has smashed your 3k a week wage limits so I will believe what I want and that aint u 👍

Yes the managers will have now. That’s obvious. Hes not a player though. And we appointed Crosby while still paying Clarkes wage (or some of it) do you think he was on more than 3k? Do you think when Clarke got the job at Cheltenham that we had some money freed up for a better calibre (yet to be seen) manager?

try to respond without getting personal or pissy because you believe a different story to me?
