If some on here had their way we'd have at least 20.How many managers have FGR had this season? Didn't they start with a female manager ( virtue signalling), quietly and quickly sidelined her. Someone else, then Deeney ( always looked a stupid move that one, but it ticked another box I suppose). Now he's gone. Have I missed anyone? They could set a new record here, outdoing Watford, lol. Anyone know what the record is for the number of manager's in 1 season?
In all seriousness, Palermo apparently hold the record - 9 changes in a single season involving 7 managers. They avoided relegation by 1 point, then tried just 5 changes the next season and went down!

Gore? Don't care how good who is if it's a loan. We need permanent signings only, no matter how crap they are, provided that they're ours and we're liable to pay their wages for at least 18 months

Obviously the problem with loan players is they leave a hole when recalled. We need to get it right in the summer for next season.
Sometimes that's a good thing (that we're not lumbered with them)! I don't have any problem with us going after as many loans as we can, so long as they are better, or much better, than we could get permanently. Ollie and Alfie clearly fall into that category. Kofi and Josh not so much (though Josh I liked). Weir looks promising. Not a bad record for loans this season so far, especially when compared with previous seasons (who could forget Callum Whelan). So long as we do the same kind of quality consistently every window, we're likely to get better players than we could permanently, without the long term risk- 1

I've signed Williams on FM. Don't bother Vale

Who do we have on loan now? Just Balmer, Devine and Weir? Or have I forgotten someone?

Just seen that he's been promoted to the PL cohort. How?!

I've done a quick search and Hughes was defo our last L2 hat trick and Akpo our last L1 hat trick. Long time ago for both!Lee Hughes in the 7 v Burton in 2013, but surely Tom Pope scored one after that - can’t think anyone else would have. If it is > 10 years since our last one it must be close to a record (for us) -Chizzy will be getting a statue at this rate. -
Cup game wasn't it? Papa John's?Politic at Shrewsbury?- 1

Id also give credit to Loft when he came on. For all of the crap he gets on here, he did well. Clear as day from Crosby's pre match interview that all has not been right with Loft BTS. Seemed to have a hunger today that I haven't seen before, epitomised by that running down and challenge in front of the paddock right at the endSay what you like. Apart from the Balmer mistake Vale were superb today.
Every single player was At It !
Special praise for Massey who has discovered his mojo, Arblaster, Devine, Grant and of course Chizzy!- 21

Last League 1 hat trick seems to have been big Akpo in 2007!

Lee Hughes?I need glasses...
I'm guessing it was Pope then- 1

That couldn't have been Garrity. Oldham fans were scathing about him and according to some that's what we should trust in our judgment. Who was it really?1-0 well done, Ben!- 1

1. Not 'everyone' has been saying how crap we've been. It's the usual 10 or 20 on here who say that repeatedly regardless. That’s total rubbish. Guarantee any other club would be doing the same as us. I’m going but you can’t blame people who rarely go for not wanting to attend when everyone’s saying how crap we’ve been.
2. I don't think it's unfair to call out the same people who say they're not going because 'we're crap' when they are the first to moan and whine about our alleged poor squad, and expect Carol to fund it all herself without their financial support.

The core 4-5k, of which I'm one, will be there through thick and thin, and always have beenAs much as I admire and support Carol's aim to grow crowds towards 10k, l think she's over-optimistic. Never mind that, we've got a job holding on to our core of 4-5k now that the post-promotion buzz has dissipated along with the novelty of being back in League One.
I'd understand if the other team in The Potteries were doing much but they aren't. We might as well face it..... we're small-time.- 3

What's your prediction for Tuesday. You clearly have the gift.we wont win today or even score- 2
-
If that's the case, must come down to us not being willing to meet their fee etcApparently an American club holds his registration and won’t release him . -
Won't be long before Rooney's sacked. Lost all but one since being appointed, and drew the other. Now, who'd have predicted that would end in tears......

Spot on. Genuinely makes me both laugh and get so frustrated when some come on after every defeat about how 'Failcroft' should be sacked. In his first transfer window he assembled the majority of the squad that led us to promotion in his first full season. In that January, he persuaded Harrogate to swap Hall for Legge. The next season, lumbered with the 2 year contracts, promotion wage increases, etc, we stayed up. This season, we are playing much better, and clearly have better players than last, particularly in midfield. Yes, we've wobbled a little, but aside from 3 games I really don't think we've deserved to lose, by any stretch. We'll turn it around, and be midtable come the end of the season, which would be progress again. All this whilst improving the youth setup remarkably which is already bearing fruit.Crosby and flitcroft in
Any football brain out there will know sacking them would be a mistake
Yet for some it's their default to go after DF regardless of reality, because they just don't understand the concept of a DOF. I actually think some think of it like a bit of witchcraft, and run in fear to get their pitchfork at every opportunity to oust or vanquish the witch that is to blame for all woes- 15
