Don't agree at all on Smith.I agree pay up the contracts of Smith ojo, jones, loft and sang but Moore has had no impact whatsoever and it remains to be seen if he has tge ability to save us from another relegation which will create real problems
Moore has shown absolutely nothing you're right, but he's got a team of pond life to deal with. Like my original post says, if we keep the majority of them hanging around how are we ever supposed to judge Moore. You can't polish a tu.rd.

Then those upstairs and on the pitch will never know how you really feel. They'll just think you've got something else on.No booing or abuse from me. Will show my dissatisfaction by leaving ten minutes from the end.
No wonder Carol couldn't believe what Dicko and mark porter told her about how angry and deflated the fan base was in the meeting they had. She's got no clue cause no one can be bothered to voice it.- 4

We we're stupid enough to pay for one of them!Totally agree mate BUT we did sadly,so who knows there could be surprises- 1

What club in their right mind is going to take a Ryan Loft or Conor Grant for example. If they aren't paid up no one will take them. Not sure it will come out in the retained list but i am guessing a few will be told they can leave if they find another club(it's finding another club thats the issue),those out of contract will all be let go you would think

Anyone who claps the players off after this season needs to check themselves into the nearest insane asylum.
"You're not fit to wear the shirt" should be sung loud and proud from minute 1 to 90- 8

The retained list is going to be a real mark of whether this club and those in charge thereof have regained their senses after 2 seasons that have demoralised the fans this badly.
Only once we know who's left, will we know what sort of a season we're going to have next year.- 5

We won't even make the playoffs, let alone the title.

Hope your recovery goes well.Don't worry about me - my mental attitude is still better than many of the morons on here - including yours. But I've been with the Vale through relegations before which is why I don't stamp my feet and throw my dummy out of the pram...or yap yap yap like some of you. My "ramblings"? Some of you can't even read properly, but I don't believe I've written anything but the truth.
As for my absence - it has nothing to do with not being paid by Flitcroft - which is very nearly libellous - but more to do with my recovering from having half a leg amputated! I rarely have to worry about the upset I may cause people on here - my personal attacks are mostly in response to being attacked.
So - I won't be around as much for a while...but I'll be in the disabled sector more, next season, now that some pain has gone away...leaving just a few pains on here!
Looking forward to a rebuild, and another promotion season, next time round! UTYV VTID Happy Claooers rule!!!- 3

I've got huge reservation about next year.
1) A bloated squad full of national league players who have another year left on their contract.
2) A manager who's shown very little in the time he's been here being given total control over football operations (if my understanding of the wording in carols statement is correct).
3) An owner who has openly admitted she knows nothing about football operations and doesn't seem to learn from mistakes.
Hopefully we'll have a decent budget for that level, but little room to maneuver given the number of awful players tethered to us for another year. We were already shopping in random markets like new Zealand because we can't afford to keep up with top end league 2 teams (in flickwanks own words) so God knows where Moore is going to be looking for players in the summer.
Luckily with Mansfield, Wrexham and Stockport going up, L2 looks pretty weak. That being said, I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if we even make the playoffs next year.- 4

She "learned her lessons" last year. So did flickwank. Look where it's got us.
Worried for next year- 3

She lost me when she backed Moore again. Loyalty Carol backing the wrong horse again.

Must be hell in lancytonys house tonight, been missing for weeks since Flitcroft stopped paying him to post on here and now we're down and all his ramblings from the season look mental.

Replace Smith with Lowe and your bob on. Add Sang.
Though I'm unlikely to get my wish:
Grant
Iacovitti
Smith
Weir
Ojo
Loft
Uche
Jones
Wilson (as much as I love him)
Massey
Lopata
Mighten
I'm giving Debrah the benefit of the doubt on account of the shower next to him, but it's close

I think the majority of fans will agree and thank Carol for buying the club, I don't think that's the issue.
What they talked about when they took over included transparency, communication, getting it right on the pitch 1st and more recently "Championship Ready".
On saving the club 10 out of 10. On the the other items, well this is the issue, this is where the discontent starts.
Little if no transparency or communication (other than a very ill judged open letter to the fans), far from getting it right on the pitch and a million miles away from Championship ready.
All we want are owners that will give us Transparency, Communication and Getting it Right on the Pitch as a Priority.
I agree that all that gimpy management speak about "championship ready" "want need expect" etc is so cringe now in the cold light of day that I'd imagine she's pretty embarrassed.
Transparency though, I disagree. We as fans have reasonably frequent access to people like Matt Hancock and flickdick via fans forums and supporters club meetings. 1 month ago she sat down with the dicko, Mark porter and so on to hear there concerns and a week later she sacked the moron.
Outside of a Sunderland till I die style documentary, I'm not sure what more we can ask for.

My two pence.
I think anyone seriously calling for Carol's head really really needs to take a long hard look at where we were under Smurf and where we are now.
On the pitch it's absolutely garbage, Carol is not a football expert and employed an absolute ball bag to oversee football operations who spent loads of money on terrible players and terrible managers. The only fault I place at her door is that she was too loyal both to flickdick and Crosby (although in hindsight what could he do with the utter maggots in the squad we've got).
Off the pitch, we've got toilet issues, but we've also got a lot of positive stuff going on. The Academy is flying, due to competent people being put in place to run it in will ryder. Toilets aside we are making improvements in our facilities year on year.
She's not perfect, but the accounts alone show that we are absolutely indebted to her both for positive cash flow and for saving us from Smurfs greedy mits.
Were all angry right now, she put our squad building in the hands of a charlatan and he's delivered a relegation for us. But be careful what you wish for trying to chase her out.- 11

Who even cares anymore. Just hurry up and get relegated so we can put this miserable season behind us.

Actually a large proportion of the losses are interests on loans owed to her as I see it. So Carol’s kids will never starve with Vale around.
You've lost me completely here. How does a loan to barclays at a small interest rate mean that a large proportion of losses are interest owed to Carol? You have missed out page 9 that refers to the loans owed to creditors after 1 year.
Those sentences refer to short term loans only repayable within a year at 0%. Effectively that’s 1 year interest free.
The Barclays loan at 2.5% and others are detailed at Page 9 under point 7 under amounts due after 1 year.
That is debt to the club, not Carol as these are club accounts.

I'd echo Joe's point above. The numbers look scary, but it's not out of the ordinary. Clubs with positive balance sheets are very much in the minority. As long as someone is willing and able to prop you up, it's basically the route you have to take.

Just another vintage performance served up by the dreges of the football league that Flitcroft managed to pull together.
Pathetic group of footballers, most of which wouldn't get a hire in the National League. We've been shown tonight what league one steady is and these fraudsters are miles away.- 1

He should not be playing in L1. He's no where close to ready. At least Dipepa and Shorrock show a bit of willing.Walks, I agree with your comment with the exception of Walters he’s just a young lad.
The fact that we are begging him to sign a contract is laughable. There's no way the rumours of stoke can be true, he'll be lucky to get a contract with baisingstoke when we bin him in summer.
