Carol doesn't need to sell up, she just needs to open here eyes to the absolute clusterfck that's unfolding infront of her and do something about. I doubt it will happen reading her open letter, which is why we are in the state we are in.

Mark Kennedy was in the door before Moore showed interest. I doubt he was the only person we looked at.Playing devils advocate here. Didn’t flitcroft say they did the same thing with Darren Moore. He was the only man we wanted and the only one we spoke to?
I wouldn't beleive a word that comes out of the flicks mouth, he's still looking for that free agent striker apparently.

There's no point voting, no point discussing it. Carol has said what she said in the open letter, he's never going to be sacked.
Vale fans have lost so much interested I doubt there is enough in the tank to mount any meaningful form of protest against him, so we will just continue with this sh!t as long as Carol allows it.
We'll go down, flickers will do a podcast and most on here will be back on his side cause he's really really trying his best and learning his lessons. Didn't you hear about the 8 signings he didn't get over the line that would have really helped?- 11

I thought it was really telling that he said two things :Yep listened just now. As a vocal critic of DF I am sorry to hear he has had abuse - no place for personal abuse - it's just a job.
Singing for him to get out of the club is a different thing - fans are entitled to their opinion.
Overall my feeling hasn't changed;
- Timing of the interview is interesting. Would we have got this podcast if we had hired a manager that the fans weren't happy about?
- We could have gambled on a PL2 player who DF thought might not be good enough - they would be better than a Dipepa surely?!?
- No mention of the left back
- All our striker options we blame the other club or the player - there is no acceptance that we are perhaps fishing in the wrong pool
- Long-term plans are great but short term we need to address the mistakes that have been made
- If we can afford Darren Moore now - who could we have got last summer when the club needed a reset?
- If we had let Crosby go after the Cheltenham game when it was painfully obvious he wasn't up to the job we would have had an opportunity to get more points on the board and the new manager's influence in the squad. The same pool of players available yes, but managers have a pull and also their own feelings of the kind of players we are missing.
I think he has done so good things and some bad things. Hiring a bad manager last summer and the overall transfer windows since being promoted to league one are enough for me to think someone else could do a better job in that position.
1) our priority is staying in the league
2) we will be able to attract better players with DM in charge.
5ish weeks ago at the fans forum, he wasn't even considering the idea of relegation and he was all over Crosby like a rash. The bloke can make his mouth say anything to fit what's going on at the time.

I have listened to the podcast but to be honest I didn't need too. It's the same script we've heard at every fans forum:
"big picture"
"campus"
"really enthused by the project at the club"
"went after half a million really top level players, but for some unknown reason they don't want to play for a team 4th bottom of the league with a pe teacher in charge"
"it's a process of getting better, despite us getting worse yes on year"
The personal abuse is poor, especially the twitter stuff. If they are coming on ovf then like hobblesworth says they need looking at.- 5

The big picture sounds amazing. The little picture is were on the verge of relegation. He talk about the same big picture in Jan and in summer, and yet here we are.Have you listened to the podcast?
Perhaps it will enable you to see the big picture of our owners, and her team's, passion for our club.
Your posts always seem so negative.
Till him and his big picture produce tangible results on the pitch, all the podcasts in the world won't change my mind on him.
When the club starts giving the fans something positive on the pitch, maybe my posts will change.- 2

Ask any stoke fan. He hasn't "contributed"(performance or goals) for 2 years.Connor Wickham would need a pre season to before he’s fit to play. He wouldn’t be available until mid March.
Gayle all day long, he can contribute immediately.
-
Conor Wickham would be way ahead of Gayle in my list. Scored a good amount for a shocking team in this league last year. Gayle hasn't scored for at least a year, and was rumoured to be on 40k at stoke. Even at a 10th of that we'd be killing our budget for a player who hasn't done it for a long while. We need a striker we all know that,so which free agent striker would you have us sign?
Granted, anyone's better than no one at this point.
-
Better than Loft?
60% of the people on this forum could probably claim that tbf. They wouldn't improve the squad either -
Gayle hasn't scored a goal in about 18 months has he? What's the point in that considering the wages he'd likely want
-
The old filckcast eh? Perfect for him, talk and talk and talk and fill the room with hot air. Then produce nothing.

Huddersfield Town fan in peace.
First thought is to wish you good luck (whilst trying to refrain from telling you that you'll need it!).
He was a bizarre appointment for us. A perfectand he was on to a loser from the start.
1) He was following the immensely popular Neil Warnock. The guy after the guy.
2) Warnock was in place to give us the opportunity to get someone brilliant. Even the most pessimistic Town fans expected someone at least slightly exciting when we ditched Neil so early.
3) Weak, unbalanced squad. There's no getting away from it - he was dealt ahand.
There's also the fan culture at Huddersfield doesn't really fit Darren Moore.
1) We tend to take to charismatic managers. Big characters that will unite the fan base and bring a one club mentality. Moore is by all accounts a thoroughly lovely man, but inspirational? Charismatic? No.
2) We like full throttle attacking football. We like to see our team play without fear, regardless of who we're against (much of our fan base left the 5-3 defeat at Southampton pretty upbeat). Darren Moore's footballing instincts are the absolute opposite of that.
Positives?
1) He is apparently brilliant at building team spirit. I say "apparently" because it was already good when he arrived and that just carried on. He didn't build it, but it didn't fall apart on his watch either. The players were playing for him (although one of our players was really quite scathing of him in an interview since his departure!).
2) Defensively we weren't bad most of the time (although when we were bad, we were truly awful).
Negatives?
1) Good grief, the football is dull. Made the stuff we played under the Cowley brothers seem like Barcelona side of 15 years ago by comparison! I could be charitable and describe his football as "cautious" but it would be closer to the truth to describe it as timid. A cautious approach when playing against Man City in the cup is understandable. Against sides in absolute freefall you'd hope for a little more. If you expect attacking football under Moore you're in for disappointment. Half a season with us and I still don't know what his attacking philosophy is, because we never saw it.
2) Game management is awful. Will not change things when you're getting battered, or when the scores are level and the opponent is there for the taking (back to the ultra-cautious approach). Known to make defensive subs when chasing an equaliser. I genuinely think he has no idea how to react to what's happening in-game.
In short, he was dealt ahand here, but he did not play it well. And whilst I thought he was poor here (even with a lot of draws, 3 wins in 23 is difficult to defend), given the squad he had, you might have expected another half dozen points or so. He was poor, but I think most Town fans overstate how bad he was here.
Meanwhile I suspect the bookies of Huddersfield are inundated with people betting on you guys for the drop. I just hope your former loanee Kian Harratt resists the temptation this time!
That numbering and lack of paragraphs is killing me.
He's been dealt a sh!t hand here, but it's a league below. We've got to pray he can do something with it.
Good luck for the rest of the season, I see it hasn't been much better since Moore left. Please catch that scum team from down the road and force them into L1

One thing I would say, what a turning point for our club appointing our first black manager. Considering the awful media we got when Smurf said he was too scared to appoint Hasselbank because of "our racist fans". It's a testiment to the turnaround in reputation we've had in the last 4 years under Carol.
Please vale fans, no cringy massey style songs about his cock size.- 5

How do you know it's wrong? You know his wage structure? Please let us know how much he's on if you do.Oh dear! Two short sentences and you could not be more wrong, if you tried! hahaha
Nice to see you're back anyway, club released your payment and latest set of posts along with the Moore announcement?

Give him chance, he still might see us relegated this year.I've presented a few facts to challenge the "utter rubbish" description. Wouldn't 2 seasons of utter rubbish see a team relegated twice?

6 minutes ago, smithie said:
Including winning at Derby and Plymouth last season (which was on the back of a severely reduced summer break), some really good football earlier this season including vs Reading in the league. Away wins at Charlton, Oxford and Exeter and winning away in the FA Cup. Beating Crewe and Mansfield in excellent style culminating in a League Cup Quarter Final.
Not my definition of "utter rubbish" but there you go.
Oh that's fine then. Let's forget that we're hanging on for dear life this year and only stayed up thanks to Barnsley last. Let's forget Ryan Loft. All is forgiven, we beat derby once!!!

Each to their own. If you're happy to forget two season of utter rubbish then all power too you.Happy little chap aren't you?

He's got an absolute mile to go before he claws back any credit for me.Surely his reign depends on this manager? 2 out of 3 would be decent I think the next transfer window could be a big one now Moore is here he’s gonna attract better players than Croz could
Two diabolic season caused by poor squad building, shocking style of play that he mandates and horrific managerial appointment when he took on Crosby. Moores appointment looks a good one on paper, but it changes nothing untill we see success- 1
