Better than Loft?
60% of the people on this forum could probably claim that tbf. They wouldn't improve the squad either -
Gayle hasn't scored a goal in about 18 months has he? What's the point in that considering the wages he'd likely want

"C) Build a recruitment department and create a player trading model where we bring players in and sell them on for profit later."
Very telling that his key objective is to buy players to flog, rather than produce on the pitch. Guess we're seeing that now.- 5

That phrase "we'll learn from these mistakes" will go down as the motto of the league one Carol era.Good statement, clearly massive mistakes have been made and major lessons to be learned quickly
We were supposed to learn from last season, we've got worse. We were supposed to learn from last January, this one was worse.

All well and good, but he's produced a squad of players that are on a death spiral to the bottom of the league. If she's happy with that then fair enough, we're stuck with him and his nonsense either way.

So your saying you think we announced signing him, then purposefully didn't get all the documents together so he wouldn't sign? Highly doubtful.Surely if we wanted him we would of applied for whatever it is
More likely the recruitment wizards stuffing up again.- 4

A crumbling squad, a crumbling stadium, a crumbling fan base.
So disillusioned this morning.- 14

I'm giving them till midday today. I'm sure as long as your paperwork was filed by 11 last night the ratification can follow.
I'm hoping in the face of overwhelming evidence that Flitcroft has done his job and got us someone and it's just held up at the FA.- 1

Nobody had that on there transfer deadline bingo card

I like that signing. Wanted him when he left Southend. Welcome Kasper. 3 more at least needed

Well I can't see much in the way of injury in his history. Last on loan at bottom of the Belgium league side KV Kortrijk.
I'm sure we were after him previously, I vaguely remember his name being mentioned in prior years. -
The Flitcroft circus keeps rolling. Who's next up, any injury history accepted!

Didn't someone post on here that they had spoken to him and he said we never got in contact with him and he's definitely going to st Johnstone?
-
He spends 90% of his time on this forum name calling and berating.Funny post but I think personal attacks aren't great. Were all vale fans and we want the best for the club- 4

Well ladies and gents welcome to the traditional Dave Flitcroft transfer deadline day panic!
In prior year's this has given us such success stories as Liam McCarron, Ryan Loft, Dennis Politic (2nd time) and Matty Taylor all under the guise of "squeezing the most value out of the market".
In positive news, all rumours of money troubles at vale should now be quashed as they are clearly still paying LancyTony to post his nonsense and abuse on here.- 2

Kyle Hudlin signs for Burton. So that's one less donkey on the market for us to get tempted by.

No I was being serious, I always thought that once it was back in socket it's was a bit of ice and some Co codemol and your away. Not sure if your recovery after a dislocation reference is tongue in cheek or wishful thinking but there is a possibility we won’t see Uche play for us again this season (or after for that matter). Anything between 6 weeks and 3 months depending on the nature of the dislocation and the sport is what a professional athlete has to consider. Would think a footballer, especially one with Uche’s ‘style of play’, would be closer to the 3 month mark for them to be 100% ‘fit’.
Every days a school day, thanks Trumpington- 1

Flickers must have it maybe drop him an email.Does anybody have a list of players at other clubs that are currently injured or have hardly played first team football this season, so, we can maybe get an idea who we might be in for- 1
-
I agree. Dislocated shoulders are usually OK aren't they once you get them back in the socket? I reckon he plays SaturdayIf Uche is out for an extended time we need two strikers
How many loan players are we allowed to have? -
So, three days left. Need a striker and wingbacks on both sides.
Zak Sturge rumoured to be one of the players we're looking at. He's barely played a minute of first team football and been crap on loan first half of the season so would fit the profile we are going for this window.
Anyone else heard any rumours?- 1

Will the presence of RW affect our negotiating with other clubs?
It couldn't be going any worse so fingers crossed positively

These new markets that flick keeps talking about might be new markets for us, but they definitely aren't for other clubs. Irish clubs are already rinsed of there best talent teams like Lincoln every year, aussie teams loses their best to the SPL all the time.
If we can't compete with Leyton Orient for Joe Pigott, we've got 0 chance of trying to compete with Hearts or Hibs. Maybe Scandinavia is the answer to all our prayers.- 1
