  1. Past hour
  2. Under V2001 the following kits only lasted one season: 03/04 third 04/05 away 05/06 home and away 06/07 home and away 07/08 home and away 11/12 away They were also made by Vandanel and the quality was horrendous.
  3. I did find it a bit laughable these comments from Moore that everything has to be right off the pitch, right structure ect for promotion. I thought we had this? Years have been spent putting this in place yet now it’s non existent. Not sure we had all the right structures in place when we were promoted under Adams? To me, it felt like deflection and an excuse ready for when we have a poor season.
  4. Why ‘empowering’ AFC Wimbledon let their youngsters call the shots | AFC Wimbledon | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM
  5. She deserved criticism for her blind loyalty to David Flitcroft, the numerous errors SHE made and the letter to fans that was produced.
  6. Retro is the way forward, so old kits can be passed down to family or similar sized fans. But the greed thing is just a daft response. I can buy a phone that does, what a phone should do or I can buy a new one that has "twinkles with bells". I like the choice and nobody that supports the Vale as a fan gives a .... what Vale shirt you wear. Each to there own and new kit sales do make money, ask my wardrobe. My choice, not Vales' Perhaps we should set up a kit forum, where old shirts can be passed on? I have loads but I tend to give them to bars in far flung places. But I am willing to give the rest away if they fit a Sm/M person? An old shirt is like a badge of honour " Son/Daughter -Dad/Mum that person has been to the Vale for 40 years, is he insane? Response Yes but he loves the Vale, must be mad, but what a shirt"
  7. One of my faves in recent seasons is the all black third kit. Bizarrely it’s one of a very few that I never ended up getting 😂 I do like a kit launch day tho pal 👍🏻
  8. I kind of agree and disagree. I have only like 3 shirt's really, in the past 10 years or so. The current away one & then both the black & gold one's from the 20/21 season. So, they are the only shirts that I have brought in the past 10 years
  9. Just thought of an idea. Whilst you are ill in bed, why don't you watch the Q & A from the other night? Its on the Vale's youtube channel
  10. I honestly aren’t fussed what the kits are like. Play in bin bags & win I’m sure most fans would be happy. If they’re lovely I’ll buy & if they’re shocking I’ll buy. Not too long until they get revealed either way
  11. Maybe it is time to have Black and gold at home and black and white away? Just a thought.
  12. I don’t think the next 12 months will be telling unless it’s failure. He clearly said it’s a project & the aim is to keep progressing season on season. Obviously if we struggle so much to be relegated or even close to relegation next season then your right. For me I think a top half finish or top 10 would be a good season & then look to build on that. Playoffs or better would be a great season
  13. Moore’s certainly putting a lot of pressure on himself. If this goes wrong he’s gone from 96 points in League 1 to being sacked in League 2, after a very poor spell at Huddersfield. He can’t blame ‘recruitment structures’ or anything like that as it appears he wants full control. He’s effectively risking his management career on success with PVFC within the next 12 months.
  14. Changing the strip every season is just greed. Please make the next strip the official strip for two seasons. Under V2001 the strip changed every two seasons. This owner wants the strip changing every six months!
  15. Ojo last goal attempt was v Sutton that was how much he fell off the cliff . I think he if going stay should be moved to the back he played really well there v Lincoln away like he had played there all his life . Would he be a asset in league 2 Yeah he think he would but football is 11 v11 and whether your playing in league 1 or 2 if attitude ain't right your going be found wanting.
  16. I'm ill in bed so thought I'd pop on here see what comments are being made if that's OK with you fella I'd rather be at the gym but I'm not sure other gym users be too pleased if I go in there with me covid /gastrointestinal germs I'm not sure what it is as in primarily stages.
  17. Today
  18. Agree with that . No idea what he said as didn't listen to it. Let's hope he gets the right blend in Players who connect Players who can turn around a game Game changers In promotion season we be chucking on politic etc and he be changing the game . Last season we had no one changing the game . Let's hope Moore is better than what he as shown so far mind you a little is something when nothing is my analysis of him so far .
  19. We had the V design maybe 8 or 9 years ago, on the GMB kit. A smallish V on one of the home kits around then, which I wasn’t a fan of, and that claret shirt which had a large V, which I thought was a nice top at the time. To be fair we’ve had some great kits over the years and many of the recent ones are right up there.
  20. I didn't like Ojo's attitude one bit once Crosby left,he was a different player then BUT for me there is no doubting he would/should be a decent player at League Two level,I doubt though that he wants to play in league 2 or play for us
  21. Folk are bashing on about being strong willed but it’s not that simple, confidence plays a big part. Also, when the chips are down if you know you’re in a struggling team that can’t score goals and leaks them like a colander it’s a lot harder than when things are going well. That said there’s no doubt we could’ve fine with, and need to recruit, a couple of players who were/are tougher, DM alluded to that the other night, kind of suggesting the players are good guys but you need a bit of nastiness in the dressing room, as long as it’s managed properly.
  22. What happened? This is what you put on Tuesday “No more online often for me a life to be lived .”
  23. He is an adult because according to his Wikipedia page, he is 78-79😁
  24. Good comment . The players who got us promoted were much stronger willed than the players who got us relegated. Gibbons and Worrall carried us for years they were both excellent players for the Vale I liked Pett he was steady, reliable and better than ojo. Edmondson was a very good addition his work was good don't forget he was a young lad learning his trade I liked him he put himself about. Harratt was growing s connection with James Wilson as proven by how they both played together, v Swindon second leg and final at Wembley a connection that wasn't allowed to grow as Harratt headed to Huddersfield or elsewhere. Proctor was having a great connection with Garrity Benning was very good when he needed be . Conner Hall was the leader in defence, its being proven cause since he as gone to Colchester the others have got worse and worse . So all in all the team.at Wembley probably beat the remaining contracted team we still have now as they had HEART. You cannot buy that .
