Talking points
Continuity challenged by injuries
Vale fans will be hoping that the recent consistency in team selection continues (at least to some extent). However, it won’t be the same starting eleven as Funso Ojo (and perhaps a couple of others) will miss out through injury. Supporters will hope changes are kept to a minimum and the formation remains essentially the same.
Known injury list
Funso Ojo, Ben Garrity, Mitch Clark, Jordan Gabriel and Liam Gordon are all long-term injured. George Byers, Kyle John and Dejaune Brown are rated “fifty-fifty”.
Possible starting eleven
Amos – John, Heneghan, C.Hall, Headley – Walters, Byers – Waine, Paton, G.Hall – Cole
Funso Ojo – injury blow

Over the years
Brief History
Peterborough United were formed in 1934. They were elected into the Football League in 1960 and immediately won the Fourth Division title in 1960–61. They secured a place in the Championship after manager Darren Ferguson led them to consecutive promotions in 2007–08 and 2008–09 and spent three of the next four seasons in the second tier. They were relegated back into League One in 2013, although they went on to win the Football League Trophy in 2014.
Stadium
Peterborough have used the London Road stadium since their formation. It currently has a 15,000 capacity.

Player connections
There are no current players in either squad who have played for both sides. Over the years there have been several players to appear for both including striker Idris Kanu, midfielder Anthony Grant, defender Shaun Brisley and former skipper Tom Conlon
Vintage connection
Striker Ricky Miller was Neil Aspin’s showpiece signing as Port Vale manager. Signed for an undisclosed fee from Peterborough, hopes were high that he would reach the heights of his scoring exploits in non-league. However, despite scoring on his debut, his spell at Vale was a disappointment and he left by mutual consent after six goals in 35 games. He later told the media he had suffered mental health issues while in Burslem.

3 points a must! If this does not happen and the gap to safety widens how much long will the hireachy keep their heads buried in the sand and continue to back the clown in charge of picking the team?
Should be fun Kirsty Dowell is the ref
Happy with the team, little concerned about Clark being rushed back and the lack of minutes Croasdale has been given. But they both have a good work ethics so let’s hope their bodies stand up to it.
It’s time to go no more excuses. Playing Clark how can he be match fit. Moore must go.
