Port Vale manager Darren Moore says that a number of players are only rated fifty-fifty for the Peterborough United game and that midfielder Funso Ojo is definitely out.
The Posh clash is seen as a vital one for Vale but George Byers, Kyle John and Dejaune Brown are all only rated fifty-fifty to take part. Furthermore, Funso Ojo who sustained a “really nasty” injury is definitely ruled out.
Moore spoke to the club’s in-house PVTV team and admitted he was frustrated with only taking one point from the 2-2 draw with Lincoln City saying: “we did get a positive result but the way the game ebbed and flowed and the performance we put in was really good. I think the frustration was that up to the 75-80 minutes we looked in the ascendancy to take the three points. But the way the game finished, with nine men, it was probably a solid point.”
On the injuries, Moore added: “Funso was the one who sustained a really nasty injury and he’s out, he’s with the medical team. In terms of the others – George Byers, Kyle John, Dejaune Brown – all those three are fifty-fifty regards the weekend. Jaheim Headley’s fine, he was more cramping up due to the intensity of the game.”
The manager thinks that he will need to use his squad over the festive period anyhow commenting: “Yeah, it’s inevitable coming into the Christmas period that the squad will be used. We’re probably playing every third, every fourth day. So, this is where the squad comes into it and we will use the squad.”
Finally, Moore reserved praise for striker Ben Waine who has hit three goals in three games since being recalled to the squad. He added: “We’re all so pleased for him. When he first came it didn’t quite work for him. But getting through that it has taken hard work Consistent hard work. For him to get the plaudits he is getting now is credit to him.”

I will be very surprised if the boro game is on,,,,,but fingers crossed eh
