Popular Twitter account Unofficial Vale claims that Vale are interested in Caernarfon Town midfielder Leo Smith and out of contract Prestatyn Town striker Jordan Davies.
Former Wrexham player Smith scored five goals in 26 games last season while prolific striker Davies has also played for Nantwich Town and Sandbach in recent seasons.
These transfer links are unlikely to be the last over the summer but only time will tell if the rumours have any legs in them. However, the Vale are likely to wait and see which players who have been offered contracts accept them them before they make any moves in the transfer market.
