Port Vale manager dismisses link to Welsh non-league duo
Port Vale manager John Askey has dismissed social media claims that the club are tracking Welsh non-league duo Leo Smith and Jordan Davies.
The rumours first circulated on Twitter account Unofficial Vale but the Sentinel newspaper has spoken to Askey who has denied the claims.
The newspaper reports:
Askey has dismissed speculation linking him with Caernarfon midfielder Leo Smith and Prestatyn Town striker Jordan Davies.
The Valiants are yet to sign any new players but plenty of rumours linking them to various footballers should be expected over the summer months.
