Portly Vale update!

Just a quick update from me.

 

After the weather put paid to our recent scheduled games with Crewe and Chester, the lads travelled to Burton on Saturday, but couldn't quite repeat the heroics Vale's Friday night performance. However, they still came home with a creditable 1-1 draw, thanks to Rob Coram's first of the season. Burton created far more chances, but thanksfully were wasteful infront of goal.

 

We're back on the road again Saturday as we take on Rochdale supporters team before Vale's game at Spotland. Another big game as Portly look to cement their place in the top 20.

 

 

 

With the later nights, we're also back to outdoor training. Tuesday evenings, 6.30 @ Springbank pitches in Chell Heath. Although with Vale's Tuesday game with Aldershot, for this week, it's moved to Thursday.

We're always looking for new players to join the squad, so if anyone fancies a few training sessions, or getting involved, let myself or Jonny Hancock (FP23) know.
