What a ridiculous comment.

 

My opinion on whether an out of work football manager should be invited to watch our games has nothing to do with my defense of a football chant.

 

In fairness Dave that chant is utterly ****ing shameful and the people that sing or condone it are quite simply disgusting.

Here we go again. I accept people like him, rate him etc, but I cannot see where this blind loyalty comes from and the fact we aren't allowed, as fans, to question the managers tactics.

This is ridiculous and it is because there's nothing else to moan about so moan about Adams. We're 2nd, you can't win every game. I knew we'd lose to Chesterfield, I could tell by Adams' complacency. There's a problem at home where we're sometimes too easily done a job on, ie Gills, Daggers, Chesterfield, and to an extent York and Torquay.

 

However, at the beginning of the season we were talking about avoiding relegation, we're now 2nd, and okay on a bit of a slide but what's the big problem all of a sudden? I'm sure we'll bounce back and I can't see us losing at Cheltenham to be honest whereas I saw the Chesterfield defeat coming.

 

If Adams was the best Manager around he wouldn't be at Vale would he? He isn't perfect but to come in for this amount of criticism for one defeat is ridiculous. Personally I's start playing Pope on his own in a 4-5-1/4-3-3 with JMW and Vincent as wing forwards and three in the middle to compensate our midfield shortfall of late, but I'm not going to lambast Adams for not doing what I want. He's more experienced than I am.
