Latest posts on the OVF front page - update

This is an issue that many of you want and I am aware of it.

 

What is it?

 

Right now we show the most recent threads to be created on the front page of OVF. What many users want is the most active threads (i.e. threads that have been posted on) rather than merely new threads.

 

What have I done?

 

I have built a test page that works and displays this like the old front page did, but it appears to be incompatible with Wordpress so it needs further work. You may notice the front page crash for a few minutes in the evening time (and that is me testing out the script). I will continue to work and tweak it and hopefully it will be sorted soon. In the meantime, the latest new threads component will have to suffice.

 

Can you help?

 

If you are a Wordpress/Vbulletin/PHP wiz and want to lend a hand you are very welcome to do so. My PHP knowledge is not that brilliant, so if you're really good at this sort of stuff perhaps you can help correct anything I have done wrong or even write me a script to use. If you can help technically do get in touch...
