Sorry to disapoint you Spunkers but someone said to me tonight "spose Mo will get the club on the cheap now, the fans don't want him you know" This is another 1980's pensions grudge. Tried to explain that he was willing to pay the full price for enough shares to take control but that Bratt stopped him but had no effect. Similar comments in the Sentinel recently. Still, you can't please all the people all the time eh. When are you over again?

I was over for the EGM. Not now and another flight lost. I booked over for the proposed AGM on the 8th of Feb!

 

Hopefully popping over for the Herford game on the 20th and the Shrews game on the 27th.

He fell into the Board's trap of entering into a public slanging match during his takeover bid.

 

instead of showing some confidence in his reputation standing up for itself, he spent too much time defending it which, to me, gave the impression that he was worried.

 

 

You and I must have been watching a completely different set of events. I loved his campaign and thought it smacked of balls and class. He showed the board up for what they were: a lying, incompetent bunch of doddering old crooks.

 

I will be so proud to have gotten to know Port Vale once that man steps in and takes over. It will be a very exciting few years.

surely even those that are still bitter about the pensions " thingy " should see this as a chance for mo to redeem himself(in their eyes,not mine)? if they still feel aggrieved about it all then surely if mo comes in and saves their football club the slate can be wiped clean? (again ,in their eyes,not mine)
