Shows the way 'modern' baseball is going when even Kershaw v Sale is practically a bullpen game!

I dunno VFIT, both got through 5 or 6 innings, I can't remember how many innings a starting pitcher has to get through before the win is attributed to him. Chris Sale has been ill and there was much doubt whether he would pitch in the play-offs.

The big revelation for the Sox has been David Price who apparently had never won a play-off game, he blew the Astros away last week and scored one of the wins against the Dodgers to sort that out. The pundits consider the Red Sox and Astros the two best teams in Baseball so are expecting a Sox win.....have heard that one before.

Don't know if there are any Baseball fans out there or if Baseball is shown on tv in the UK. The Houston Astros (Last year's World Series Winners) are currently playing the Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series, it's best out of 7 and the Sox lead 3-1 with a game tonight in Houston.

The action has been terrific, exciting, dramatic with incredible athleticism on the field, all stuff not usually associated with baseball. The last two games have gone down to the last pitch. Tune in tonight if possible or set the DVR.

Yes, I like it. Been to a few games in the states, Yankees, Mets, Cubs, Marlins, Dodgers and A's. Plus 3 games in Japan!

You've seen more baseball live than me Phil.

Longest game in baseball world series history on Friday night, went to 18 innings before the Dodgers won it with a walk off home run.

Brilliant action tonight, Dodgers went 4-0 up in the 7th (I think) then the Sox came back to win 9-6, Sox winning the Series 3-1. Big game tomorrow.

Both managed 4 innings, 5 needed to qualify for the win, 6 for a 'quality start'. While the SP gets an earlier hook in the playoffs anyway the amount of innings getting eaten by the pen is an all time high. (Even if you take out the Brewers using 'openers')

Red Sox fully deserved winners, historic season on many fronts for the team.
