I am running this Sunday in the Potts Arf and again in the Full Potteries Marathon on 5th July 2015. This will be my first marathon to raise money for Help for Heroes. I know that there are numerous competing charities and all worthy therefore I hope my idea is a little different and fellow Vale fans will get behind me.

 

I have set up a Facebook page called – ‘Post Your Hero for Help for Heroes'.

The idea is - I am asking for everyone to post a picture of their hero, it can be anybody you like, footballer, war veteran, father, son, grandfather, mother daughter, celebrity and the list goes on. Tell us why this person is your hero and it will be there forever.
