THere is no scenario where uche should stay. Not only a horrific striker who never scores (being better than lot isnt the bar we should be using), but he cant play 90 minutes. While it’s rumoured he is our highest, or one of, earners. One of the first out of the door.

Completely agree. He’s <ovf censored> awful. He’s more a threat to knocking the Hamil roof down than getting one on target. Not to mention his conditioning for a so called professional is a disgrace.

Tbf Doha Walters(who i thought lacked in a few games) has actually been one of the better players(not hard i know) in his last few games,Dipepa we know has done well at League one level,so i would be keeping those two near the first team squad next season,as for the other young lads you are probably right

Plant i dont really see now as one of the young lads,so he will be in the squad as well

This is going to be a big summer for Plant now. I really hope we settle on a position for him to play in now than just shunt him round the lineup plugging whatever gaps there are. It’s really done him a disservice. No more shoehorning him as a wingback. I felt so sorry for him up against Mason-Clark at Peterborough the other week when he was powerless to stop him.

I think we probably sell one of Garrity or Chislett - I would guess Chislett, as he’s better technically, is a bit younger, and perhaps will want to move back South where’s he’s spent most of his career. Charlton wouldn’t surprise me, considering his performances against them. I honestly think we’ll hold onto Garrity.

    Next season could look like:

    Ripley

    Clark New Smith New

    Ojo New

    Plant New Shorrock

    New

I think I’d transfer list Ojo. He doesn’t really look like he wants to be here since Crosby left so let him find a new club and get whatever we can for him. I’m sure a lower end L1 club might want him in their squad.

  4. At this point not really much else you can say. Certainly a lot better in tone than her previous one. Just have to see how it all plays out, a lot of hard work ahead not least clearing some of the stiffs in this squad.

  5. I feel for her as she’s always had good intentions but you can’t keep making so many wrong decisions and not pay the price. I know she likes to say she doesn’t see it as losing but learning lessons, well she’ll have a <ovf censored> masters by now.

Best thing she can do is take a couple of days take stock. Maybe take advice from Rudgey and then address it publically rather than let emotion take over.

Attendance could be shambolic next week! Should be anyway

I’m trying to think which would be the more effective. People turn up and just 90 minutes of all the usual gallows humour chants so a few of these stiffs take the hint or playing to a virtually empty stadium and nobody there if they try a lap of dishonour at the end?

Hopefully the last time I see in a vale shirt.

I suspect he’ll still be here next year. Just don’t see a list of clubs queuing up to take on his injury risk if nothing else. If he does stay he needs to move to central, same as Sang.

I'm going to put it out there... would Crosby have kept us up?

I think he probably would have. Things were far from great under him, but there's no way we lose 10 from 15 games with him in charge. We'd have scraped enough points to stop up based on the fact we still find ourselves only 3 points adrift. The fact we're not mathmatically relegated yet is astonishing. The bottom of this league is absolute garbage.

Our home form in particular is beyond a joke. I really worry about next season. We're a soft touch & we all know what League 2 is all about. We will be bullied week in week out.

We'll never know but the last time we saw a Crosby team was I think that 3-0 hammering at Fleetwood where we just looked completely unprepared to play. My feeling is it would have been just as bad though maybe we might have won the possession stats more often.
