Love an ex player on here mate.
Gibbo, Harratt etc.
Not seen anyone mentioning getting Small back yet after he was a regular at Charlton.
I expect Small would be good if played somewhere near his proper position. This is a dig at our previous manager in case of any doubt...

Marc Richards was ok with his head too.

Betting on Wilson signing for Clarke and getting promotion with Cheltenham…
I think Clarke will throw his toys out of the pram and leave Cheltenham.

@Rampant Zebra @TJHValiant do not let the facts get in the way of a discussion 😁
I wasn't, but maybe you were... 🙂

Would you like talk about narrative ?
How many times Uche got into double figures? Just the once, over 6 years ago.
Do you know what his best goal scoring season return figure is after that? Just the 6
Do you know how many league goals Uche's scored in the past 5 seasons? Just the 17
What an absolute poor excuse for a footballer he is.
1 fooking goal, just 1 fooking goal and 1 assist for us and we want to resign him
Only the six goals in the Championship...

Barrow have Dom Telford and Cole Stockton.
We have Ryan Loft and Uche Ikpeazu.
Barrow have missed out on the league two playoffs.
Stockton got 7 in 12. Telford only 4.
But two seasons ago, Telford got 25 in league 2 at the age of 28. Stockton got 23 in league 1 at the age of 28.Uche will be 30 in February and hasn’t hit a barn door in his career.
It won’t start now.
It won’t start in August.
It won’t start in August 2025.
He’s garbage.I don’t want my strikers to do a “job”. I want them to score or contribute to goals.
He can’t do either.
It’s as simple as that.
Are you conveniently ignoring the season he scored 14 goals for Cambridge in league 2 because it doesn't fit your dialogue? 🙂

Lott was cheaper than Harrison. Not sure about Uche. Think he was potentially a desperate signing to win the fans over
Uche was probably a desperate signing because he was available and was willing to sign for us.

The following is what you "predicted".
Cheltenham didn't score in 9 games before he went in and shot them up the form table, a win today and he'd have kept them up. His January signings that "decimated" his squad scored today, and against us.
Get a grip.
I suppose Curtis Davies was free then? Be interesting to see Cheltenhams accounts for next season.

Got closer than we did! And, suspect he'll get them to a higher League Two position than us next season.
As my dad used to say "nearly doesn't count"

The irony is that had he kept Cheltenham up, lots on here would have been blaming the club for having let him go!
But, as I predicted ages ago, he didn't keep Cheltenham up...

A goal for Cheltenham and DC may well have saved them from relegation. Hope that Carol does irony?!
What is ironic about it?

What is the point? Some players will leave, some will stay and we will bring new players in. If we make a scene it won't encourage the ones who stay, won't help with recruitment and the ones who leave won't have a favourable impression of Port Vale to pass on. None of the players have deliberately got us relegated. Carol is aware that things haven't gone to plan and there is no need to rub it in. I have decided just to not go but not make a fuss about it. Up the Vale! 🤠

We are league 2 based on the league we will be in next season 😱

I think once you walk away it is difficult to come back. I have seen quite a few people who have given up their season tickets and most of them haven't been since.

Uche has scored goals in the championship recently for Wycombe, Middlesbrough and Cardiff. I think he will be fine in league 2 with a proper preseason.

What about him?

I watched Stafford Rangers play Ashton United on Saturday. Ashton had Sean Newton in defence, he is 35 and played 77 games for Lincoln 10 years ago before returning to non league. He looked like he was in a different league to everyone else on the pitch. Non league may have some young gems but they are few and far between.

I thought her latest statement was OK. It would not be wise for her to publicly name check David Flitcroft or anyone else in a negative fashion. NDA agreements work both ways.

The Port Vale women's team are still in with a chance of promotion. They play exciting football and score quite a few goals. 4 games left I think. I am sure they would appreciate any support and it is only £4 in at Kidsgrove. Good beer and you can watch the match while you drink it too.

Yeah, why don't people stop speculating, on a football forum, about a subject very few people know the truth about.
For the person above who said remember Kevin, he has heart problems and is staying in the background.
Kevin didn't look too bad when I said hello to him the other day.
