If you were thinking of parking on that patch of ground near the away end, be aware that someone has built a building on it... There is a car park for the reservoir at the bottom of the lane but it is a bit further away.

My favourite memory of a Pope goal is the Etihad. But for VAR we could have won...
-
Has anyone heard if the tickets are available yet, I was hoping to get mine before the match 😄
-
Yes if the Port Vale Ladies continue to play there, the pitch isn't that good at the moment.
-
Official site is reporting that Wigan tickets won't be available tomorrow due to a glitch.

Is anyone from Portly Vale (haven't heard of them for ages) still around?
I played for them once at an away game because they were short of players, I think Errol, old Boomers dad, was playing.

Flickers is a wery good man to have, if your a,bition is to get promotion from league two. That is the level he hae been working on almost his hole carrier. That is the level he has, trough his network. And his name is pretty heavy wheight in that manner. That is his level. He has nothing to show, when coming to the next level.
He don't have the contacts or the credibility to take the club to the next level. We need now a far heavyer name as an DOF, with contacts and expirience from the two top divisions, who knows how to make us "Championship ready."
For as it shows Flickers is not that man, he is the one that gets you out of league two.Unfortunately Flitcroft sometimes gets clubs the wrong way out of league 2. He isn't anything like as good as he thinks he is at any level unfortunately.

He didn’t come in on trial. No way we were beating Derby to that signature either.
He was just an example of a free agent who was fit enough to score. There are others

I think our opinions of the DOF model are probably coloured by the poor job done by our last one...

Just take a look around at other clubs and the ownership problems they have. Port Vale is not a club in danger due to rogue owners. Yes they have made some decisions that we haven't agreed with but they remain commited to the club and will ultimately stump up the money needed to right the wrongs should we be relegated.
Can we admit that the Bycars move was ill advised and go back there next season then?

Is a well meaning but misguided owner any better though? I guess we will find out...

I think that the artist is probably making a nice turn out of the Rudge statue.

It will save me a 50+ mile round trip if we are already down by then.

The youngsters coming through will probably either be so damaged by being thrown in at the deep end that they never achieve their full potential or be sold for a fraction of their development costs to the first club which enquires. That seems to be "the process" to date.
