I think Crosby would have kept us up. That’s how bad Moore has been.

I actually miss him a bit and I was one of his biggest critics at the back end of his tenure. Not because he was particularly good, obviously. But he just comes across so much better than Moore.

Just listened to his post match interview. It’s like listening to a ChatGPT AI bot. Dreadful

The guy can barely put a decent sentence together. God knows what he's like in the dressing room, but it can't be good.

Carol has made mistakes and it was rather naive to not think about relegation our first goal at the start of the season should have been league one safety. However many decisions recently she's made lot's of fans including myself have agreed with at the time. Sacking Crosby, bringing in Moore and sacking Flitcroft. That being said Moore has really not inspired me and although he's working with a very poor squad we seem to look worse under him. Do we give him a chance with his own players or start fresh?

She was the one who appointed Crosby in the first place. Why? Because he was the cheap and easy option. Not because he had any credentials to actually improve the club. She then only sacked Flitcroft because the fans basically left her with no choice, otherwise the chancer would still be at the club.

Carol's been living off her "saved the club" schtick for a couple of years now. But you can be grateful for that while also being critical of just about everything she has done since.

Wonder if she will make an appearance anytime soon and take some accountability for this disaster? Or will she just patronize fans again and point the finger elsewhere?

Every single decision she has made in recent times have led to this.

    Just so.

Such hostility is completely unjustified towards someone who, despite this season's very poor outcome, has only ever tried hard to help and restore our club.

In certain cases, the hostility is because they are closet Stoke supporters trying to harm our club by offending and alienating our greatest benefactor.

But the genuine Vale supporters who also join in are beyond all reason - let's go out of our way to be offensive to the person who is the sole reason why Vale still exists after Smurthwaite leeched it dry.

I hope that those genuine Vale supporters have a careful think about their actions and the potential consequences.

You mention Stoke here an awful lot I've noticed.

Something you're not telling us, Alan Tit?

Carol... Could you come out and apologise to the fans and show some remorse?

She only shows up when people want to shower her with praise, pat her on the back and tell her how wonderful she is for Port Vale and Burslem.

More chance of Bigfoot making an appearance right now.

I dont think it was quite the Huddersfield fanbase tbf and as i have said before, they aren't doing much better since he left...given time he improves squads,he wasn't given time at Huddersfield and hasn't had time here yet

He wasn't given more time at Huddersfield because he was God awful. They were losing games left, right and centre, he was boring the pants out of everyone with his tactics and also his post match interviews. Basically exactly the same stuff we have seen with him here. With the squad he had at Wednesday I don't think it was any huge achievement to take them up.

From what I've seen so far I'd say he's arguably worse than Crosby, and we have given the plonker a 5 year contract. It's an utter circus under Clueless Carol.

Where is Carol? Nice to see her leading from the front.

She only shows up when people are wanting to give her pats on the back and tell her how just wonderful she is. Egotistical behaviour.

Stop trying to harm my club by masquerading as a Vale fan and then posting poison here.

Your own club is also in danger of relegation, Stokiie, so it would show some honesty and integrity in you to go and support them.

Hope that is straightforward enough for you.

Alan Tit with the his usual schtick. Get a grip you clown.

  10.

We can all pick different starting 11's and the one thing in common they will all have is that they are simply not good enough at this level, from front to back.

It's a crying shame. Go back to the beginning of the season when a home win (against Burton?) would have put us top, and we genuinely had a strong, exciting 11. Arbaster and Devine pulling the strings. We all dreamed that Wilson could stay fit and show the player many still seem to think he could be. We had Thomas up top who offered something different.

We've gone from being hopeful to completely abject, all because of one ladies faith in a complete and utter chancer, and a January transfer window straight from the depths of hell.

Yes, it is in part but it's not just down to him. It's also, in my view, down to a) having to take off a half-fit Uche Ikpeazu against Exeter because otherwise the guy could well have picked up another injury b) not having not alternative strikers due to him having someone else's rubbish squad. So, yes, while Moore was in charge and perhaps responsibility lies there - what was he supposed to do when Ikpeazu runs out of steam? Also why isn't some of the blame laid at the feet of the players who bottled it and were on the pitch, unlike the manager who can't directly affect their in-game decisions?

I'm not saying Moore doesn't take SOME responsibility but I don't think it is solely his fault either.

Definitely not his fault alone. But if he sticks around, the jury will really be out on him next season. So far he's only shown us exactly the type of person and manager the Huddersfield fanbase were warning us we were getting.

  12.

We might huff and puff for 20 or 30 minutes but this will end up 3 or 4. People call me negative, a Stoke fan, blah blah. That's fine. I certainly don't lose sleep over it. But in my eyes we were down 6 or 7 weeks ago and I made peace with it.

Bring on the rebuild and get as many of these muppets out of the club as possible.

I'd agree with that. I think he needs a window to a) see what he brings in and b) how he performs with players he wants.

Yes, results have been underwhelming so far but just look at the squad he's been given. Would anyone be able to do much with three senior strikers who don't score (two of which have been injured as well) and a rookie teenager upfront?

If it isn't working then I would hope any change is made before January, allowing time to get a new bloke in with some of the January window remaining.

We still should have had enough to win our home games against bang average teams not really playing for anything though. The collapse against Exeter was completely unacceptable. We should have got 4 points minimum from the last two games and we ended up with zilch. Nothing. Nada. That's on Darren Moore.

So far, he's been absolutely diabolical with an admittedly diabolical League One squad, which is down to Carol and her decisions over the season.

Carols just his next one. He's done AC, DF and now CS. Once she's gone I've heard he's going to go for the lad that heats the pies emoji3050.png up in the railway kiosk. No one is safe from him emoji3.png

As long as he does his job and keeps those pies at a sufficient temperature I have no axe to grind with him.

What will placate you so you'll shut up about the Shanahan family?

I've never mentioned her family once. Well, maybe Patrick once or twice but he's about as useful as a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest.

    I wish you’d hide away.

How about you give your own thoughts and opinions instead of only replying to what others, in this case myself, has to say?

Or is that beyond your capabilities, little man?

Maybe you’re standing by that person with the wool still firmly pulled over your eyes though.

I get that. And doing so was her biggest mistake. Mistakes happen, and can be forgiven. Just want her to take accountability for her actions this season and show us all she's determined to put things right. She was taken for a mug by Flitcroft and she can't let that happen again, for her sake or the clubs.

  18.

One thing I will say is that when things we're going well, Carol's face seemed to be everywhere. Since things have gone <ovf censored> up it's almost like she hides away. You can't just expect constant praise in football whether you're a player, a member of staff or in this case the owner.

A Manager is paid to get the best results that they possibly can, whatever industry that you work in. And in the Football industry you're paid quite well to do that, Moore for me isn't worth the 5 year deal nor the wages that'll be going on his bank.

2 wins out of 15 is utter sh**e. Whatever way you look at it.

Granted they aren't his players but listen listen his post match interviews, that wouldn't inspire my dog to f****** run around. And he's zooming at walkies😅.

I can't see us getting rid of him but I think the best thing for Port Vale is a complete revamp of the infrastructure of the club, what's that going to cost I don't know. I just don't think that Moore is up for it personally, complete lack of personality and fight.

If he was a chocolate bar he would be a Freddo. He's just dull and uninspiring. I just cant fathom any player wanting to run through brick walls for him as many of them did for Clarke. Even Crosby for a while.

I think that is the bottom line. The is a seriously moronic part of OVF who seem to truely believe there is a long queue of billionaires wanting to fund Vale. There isn't and until there is there is it's Carol or Barrett's Homes as realistic options.

Or maybe this moronic part of OVF just want a chairwoman who puts her hands up and admits she's been getting it wrong, and tell us what she plans to do to start getting things right. Instead of sending out open letters insisting how she has been right all along and most others wrong.
