Well I just don't see how a half hearted, tongue in cheek comment is mocking anybody, and especially a dead girl from decades ago. But I'll say no more. Other than that I could no doubt name those that reported it...

I just don't see how we wouldn't as it would be absolutely ridiculous, considering Thomas has gone back, Garrity is injured and Loft may as well be a Cactus.

I don't know why people are having a mental breakdown. I never said Ikpeazu doesn't have some worth as a player. I would also prefer to keep him now that we've got him fit at long last. But we've lost considerably better players in the past and done alright. There's not a chance the club would allow him to leave unless they had an adequate replacement. Surely. But whatever you think of him, he's a striker that scores less goals than some defenders. That's a fact, not an opinion.

It's called not having a pot to piss in, sadly.

When we're worrying about a striker possibly leaving who's scored all of one goal for us, you know there are some major things that need addressing at the club and quickly.

I've given the manager and club a fair bit of stick this season. I feel at least some of that is fully justified. But signings like Arblaster, Devine, Williams and hopefully Gore only shows the progress of the club, even if they're only loanees.

And the alternative is..... Not to cry a river over a loanee going back to his club.

And was pretty ordinary for the others. He's a good player and will get better, but losing Arblaster was a bigger blow. Let's see who we bring in to replace him, if anybody, before we get too down.

We'll be rate. It's not like Devine was tearing it up every week. He had some good games, some poor ones. Ultimately I expected more from him in terms of goals and assists output all things considered. He was better played deeper but he didn't really start to do that until quite recently.

Playing a 5-2-2-1 formation, we're still left with Ojo, Weir and Sang for those two deeper midfield places. Garrity can play there also and then there's Walters who will need to play games sooner or later if he's to really improve. People need to relax. Devine was a talent but ultimately got one assist in the league and two goals, one being a penalty. They're not impossible stats to replace.

Add another striker to the squad in this window if possible and we'll be alright. Just realised I completely missed out Garrity too somehow. Taxi for me.

A few years back he was seen as a big prospect at Liverpool. Obviously it's not gone the way he would have wanted of late but is still at a very good age to turn things around. A decent loan spell with us will certainly help that. A year or so ago we wouldn't have had a chance of signing any player on a club like Liverpool's books, so credit to all involved.

Williams has looked decent enough playing in Cup games for the Liverpool first team whenever I've seen him. Would be a massive upgrade on Balmer, who let's be honest is miles away. Williams is decent in the air and has a fair bit of pace.

Smith/Beterbiev will be a good one in the early hours of Sunday morning worth staying up for. Beterbiev is a monster, but Smith can crack and is an excellent counter puncher so I give him a decent enough chance in that fight to pull off a pretty huge upset.

From what I gather he only started 4 games for them, and while he didn't score, he did get two assists during his brief time there.

We might get away not bringing in a striker until the summer. Ikpeazu makes the side better when he plays, and Loft is an okay option for 20-25 minutes when he tires. We certainly need a defender or two though. An attack of Ikpeazu, Wilson, Chislett and Devine is still quality at this level if they are all fit. We would stay up comfortably if we could play them every weekend, regardless of my thoughts on the manager.

I don't want to bash the guy too much. He tries and perhaps he can still turn things around. But I'm just not sure what his strengths are. For such a big lad he's not particularly strong and doesn't win as many headers as he should. If he was 21 my opinion would be different, but he's 26 and not far from what should be his peak.

Maybe I just expected a little much from Devine. But some Spurs fan genuinely talk about him as Maddison's understudy from next season. I just don't see that happening at all. He's a million miles away from that sort of level yet.

Our current loanees have been a mixed bag really haven't they. Arblaster - Obviously an excellent prospect. Did expect him to get one or two more goals than he did for us, but still did a great job and leaves with everyone's best wishes. Devine - Not as big on him as some people here. I mean he's a talented little player but considering all the hype he came with, his stats leave a bit to be desired. Would no doubt be much better next season on the back of a full season in League One. Needs to have a big second half of the season for us if we're to stay clear of those relegation spots. Thomas - Has a bit of pace but not much else. Still young and raw so hard to judge properly. May as well have left the club months ago really. Balmer - Looks miles away even at this level. Constantly looks like he's terrified of making a mistake, and makes them too often.

That's called blind optimism. Nothing at all wrong with that, but I can't see how he's shown any sort of promise whatsoever in anybody's eyes.

If he does I'll be the first to give him credit. But I just don't see that. His record for previous teams suggests he doesn't score goals and his record for us so far this season is more of the same. He's a really poor signing.

We give him to any takers in the summer. He's woeful. Even if we went down I would look to get rid.
