Listening to Crewho at Stockport County , winning 3-1 . If they win its a great result . Looks like they could be coming up. -

Yes but none of our strikers scored from open play. -

It would appear we have been missing a prolific goal scorer for several transfer windows now, the lack of one almost took us down last season., perhaps DF ought to read OVF. The Posh have always been a tough opponent as people have said even when we have been a good Vale side. We certainly arent one of those at the moment and yes OK the Posh may be having a temporary blip but our league position indicates our blip is of the more permanent type. Would snatch your hand off for a draw now but our lack of goals and the quality of the opposition at home makes me fear the worst. -
Flitcroft out. He ridiculed the guy at the forum the other night who raised the relegation issue, very quiet now. After the events of Monday Flitcroft chucks the Academy managers under the bus rather than manage the team himself in an emergency situation. Good Managers lead from the front and when the going gets tough are in the trenches with you. Flitcroft is hiding behind Carols skirt safely 5 miles from the front. Sums the guy up perfectly.

I think ive solved the issue with our striker recruitment. I can confirm Flitcroft had been chasing a striker , we just signed the wrong Lofty. -

Unfortunately while the ship is sinking the band plays on. Jettison DF and AC and we at least stand a chance of staying afloat. -

As its a first appointment as Manager Im sure that was the lure. I bet Crosby puts up with way more than an experienced Manager would just so as he can have that Job Title on his CV. -

The only way Loft is leaving is if we pay money for him to do so as unlike us I cant imagine anyone is chasing him. -

Loft doesnt need more game time, what would benefit him the most is if we put a bell in the ball. -

Can we offer a packet of Haribos with Loft as the makeweight ? -

Thank goodness we replaced our appalling pitch , just imagine the injury toll we would have had otherwise. 😁 -

Loft to Blackpool. Beach that is, not the football club. -

I suppose my gripe is that this is a guy we apparently actively chased and reputedly paid £70k for, not something the Vale do lightly these days. The Bristol fans couldnt believe we had taken him off their hands and were astonished that we paid money to do so. My judgement like theirs is only based on seeing the player in action , admittedly not for long as despite the fact he is a striker, who we recently paid money for Crosby prefers to play no striker( no offence to midfielder Garrity) than play Loft. Trust the process, Nah I would rather trust the Bristol fans who spent a decent amount of time actually watching Loft in action, or should that read inaction ? -

Do people like this appear on our scouting radar anymore, if its all stats related ? Were the days of Rudgie going to watch games like you did allied with a network of scouts produce more rough diamonds ? -

Know nothing about the guy other than he is a midfielder. Anyone else out there think we ought to be looking at strikers, preferably ones who score goals? -
Good appointment as they wont have to change many letters on the managers office door.

Pity he didn't get the chance to finish his project of turning them into a N. Ireland feeder club .

Handy for Stafford prison.

Ha ha, fake man in the pub here. Speedy probably going as next manager, which half decent manager would take on that poison chalice.
