  1. Maybe if we are relegated he leaves. Can’t see him fancying a go at League Two.
  2. This is honestly the one/two things that really irritate me. No way should DF be the DOF (he isn’t experienced enough and Carol literally said that DF wasn’t sure he wanted to get back into football, ffs!). Colin Garlick should never have been sacked and replaced with a lad in his 20s.
  3. I genuinely believe he will quit if we haven’t won in the next couple of games.
  4. Draw isn’t a bad result tonight but the 3 points would be massive and could kickstart a little up turn in form.
  5. Wish we had seen more of him before he went back. Looked lively and pacey. A nightmare for defenders to deal with.
  6. Even a player short we would have a chance
  7. True. If they came down and Crewe didn’t go up it’d be alright. Don’t think I could stomach Crewe getting 2 league games against them before us.
  8. I don’t for one second believe that clubs like Stevenage, Wycombe, Cambridge, Northampton etc.. have better off field income streams than us.
  9. If we go down I’d rather they stayed up especially if Crewe go up.
  10. We will lead 1-0 or 2-1 but ultimately still lose the game. We are moving into “must win” territory and our record against teams around us is AWFUL.
  11. Not if we conspire to get the game off. As we have done 😂
  12. I guess it is feasible the phone calls happened first and he then came for an interview for the job which is when he talked himself into a role that didn’t exist but “talking for hours” about what they thought a club should look like suggests otherwise.
  13. Initially it was “DF came in for the an interview for the vacant managers job” (despite him “not being interested in getting back into football”) but that’s since changed to “Colin Garlick put me in touch with DF and we spent hours on the phone”…
  14. Read it over two days just after Christmas. Fascinating read.
  15. Genuinely laughed out loud when I read that as well. As if Robbie’s middle aged female fans have handguns in their car boot. Ffs.
  16. “Dave understood the football industry inside out and aligned with my values. The only issue was Dave wasn’t working in football and had no plans to be. He had stepped away from football to be with his family.” Didn’t have plans to get involved in football but walks in the door and manages to create a new position at a club he wasn’t involved with? Yeah, right. “[E] He has led the design of the Training Zone which the players change in with a physio room, boot room and ice baths as well as a new first team office for the coaching staff - both of which have been built. On top of this, he has created plans for a gym and offices overlooking the training pitches with work set to start this year.” Eh? We have had more injuries in the squad over the last 3 seasons than I can ever remember us having.
  17. Embarrassing stuff. Fans don’t tend to care about shiny new offices on the side of the training pitch. This is going sour, very fast.
  18. I really don’t see why we need a director of football at our level. As long as we’ve got a decent scouting network and back room people with experience then it’s a ridiculous notion to have one. Especially one who is seemingly dictating tactics/style of play/formation.
  19. Just laughed out loud at “out-Norm ourselves” 😂 Flitcroft is the common denominator and should do the decent thing which is step down, now. Ask JR to consult on who to get in as manager.
