Port Vale have announced the signing of 31 year-old midfielder Grant Ward on a deal until the end of the season.
Ward has yet to play this season after being released in the summer. He most recently played for Bristol Rovers as well as spells with Blackpool and Ipswich Town.
Manager Jon Brady said “We’re delighted to welcome Grant to the club and look forward to working with him. He’ll give us quality and versatility in the midfield going into another really busy period and has experience at this level and above.”
The Valiants are currently missing both Ben Garrity and George Byers through injury.
