Port Vale manager Jon Brady has made his third signing by bringing in left-sided Everton youngster Elijah Campbell.
Campbell is able to fill in on the left of central defence as well as left-back. He had experience of League One with a loan spell at Fleetwood as well as a spell in Scotland with Ross County. The 21 year-old has also played for the England U20 side and is contracted at Everton until 2027.
He joins the Valiants on loan until the end of the season.
Manager Jon Brady commented: “We’re really pleased to have Elijah on board. He’s only 21 but already has some good experience under his belt, including at this level, and he’ll give us another defensive option going into a busy period of important games. Our thanks to Everton for trusting us with continuing his development here at Vale Park.”
Brady’s other additions this January have been loanee Ethon Archer and defender Tyler Magloire.
Meanwhile, the likes of Jesse Debrah, Ronan Curtis, Devante Cole, Mo Faal, Marvin Johnson and James Plant have departed the club.

interesting background, looks a promising signing. With six players exited new signings are inevitable, but Vale will also be running close to using 40 players this season. That speaks for itself in a season dominated by muddled team selections and tactics, poor form, and managerial turmoil.
