Injured striker Mo Faal has returned to Wrexham after his loan spell at Vale Park was ended.
The tall striker joined on loan in August but had a mixed reception from Vale fans during his time at the club. Faal managed three goals in cup competitions but he was often regarded as ineffective upfront by many supporters.
The forward was injured during Vale’s win over Bolton Wanderers in the Football League Trophy and Wrexham confirmed that the striker will “undergo treatment for the injury sustained.”
Vale said “We would like to thank Mo for his efforts during his time at Vale Park and wish him well for the future.”
Faal totalled three goals in 23 appearances for the Valiants.

Exits gaining momentum, with Faal joining Johnson, Curtis and one surplus keeper. I wonder what Brady thinks about his full / wing back situation with Clark, Gabriel, Plant and Lomax competing on the right, and Headley, Gordon, Shorrock on the left, with John also available to cover both right and left. And, that excludes Hart presumably seeing out his Vale contract on loan to Falkirk. If Brady was baffled at having three keepers, what does he think about inheriting nine full / wing backs ?
Thank God for that hopefully he can improve at another club because in all honesty he was garbage ere. Could we send Brown back as well cus he’s just as bad. Unfortunately that still leaves us with a lot more garbage to bin.
