Port Vale manager Jon Brady has made his second loan signing from Everton in a day after agreeing a loan deal for Dutch teenaged striker Martin Sherif.
Dutch youth International Sherif stands six foot four inches tall and is 19 years of age. He has already had a loan spell at Rotherham United scoring two goals in seven League appearances. The left footer joins team mate Elijah Campbell in the Vale squad with the defender joining earlier on Sunday.
Sherif joins the Valiants on loan until the end of the season.
Manager Jon Brady commented: “We’re really pleased to welcome Martin to the club. He’s a young, hungry forward with plenty of potential, who will offer us a real presence in the forward line during the second half of the season. As with Elijah, we’re looking forward to bringing Martin into the group and are grateful to Everton.”
In addition to the Everton pair, Brady’s other additions this January have been loanee Ethon Archer and defender Tyler Magloire.
Meanwhile, the likes of Jesse Debrah, Ronan Curtis, Devante Cole, Mo Faal, Marvin Johnson and James Plant have departed the club.

The club has clearly accepted its fate and we have to live with the consequences. They need to save money yet at the same time try and show the new manager that they are supporting him. If we knew exactly what was going on the fans would be more supportive.
