He didn't but more than most. He's by far the rawest of our youngsters for me and would likely benefit most from a loan at VNL level. Has ability though
I wont be shocked if he isn't here at the start of the season

Darren Moore has turned us into the most boring team on the planet .
5 more of years
Crikey .
Cannot believe that we haven't scored in a relegation battle
Surely you throw players forwards .
Going need a lot of money sort that <ovf censored> show out .
I see no massey loft Sang today in squad shame there wasn't a few more .
Give it a rest,he is here for the start of the season so it's tough and please for goodness sake forget this 5yr nonsense and you do know it wasn't a relegation battle as we were already down and if there were more than those mentioned not in the squad, you do know we would have about 8 in the squad dont you......... I love your spirit but oh boy sometimes...well you know,i thought you weren't coming on here again etc just stay on and post under your usual name on here, everyone knows it anyway.
Oh and it's all Smiths fault it was Cambridge 0 you might as well add that ...... oh

I just hope we dont get the old DF spin of you have to wait until right at the end of the window to get the best players, lets strike early and bring in a good striker to give us a bit of hope for next season

Remember, when the retained list is released next week, it be more than likely just decisions on the players that are currently out of contract.
Decisions made on any players that whose contract we might pay up or put on the transfer list, that maybe at least a few days later before we hear about thing's like that
Agreed, behind closed doors they will be telling a few that they are free to find another club and we probably wont find out about them until they leave

Noah Chilvers is out of contract this summer. Hammered Crewe today.
He would still cost a fee as he is 23 but he has always been reported as being one of their best players, although sign someone like him and people would moan straight away that we are signing players from clubs who only just stayed up

Just watching Newcastle V ShefU - Ollie getting some wonderful remarks from the commentators.
What a privilege it was having him for the first half of the season.
Have they got any good young strikers 🙂

Not a chance Crewe go up even if they make the playoffs. Form has dropped off big time. Surely it’ll be Doncaster who are now 2-0 up & won 11 out of their last 11 games. Talk about charging into promotion 🔥
I guess they want their 2 cup finals next season 🙂

Remains a mystery why Ellis wanted away. Seems a player who likes collecting signing on fees. I agree I think he would have scored about 10 goals; which would have seen us stay up. His general hold up play was also pretty good.
He came here for DC so I guess after we got rid of him he just wasn't interested in staying

1.58 points a game in his managerial career. Nowhere near that at Vale.
Ah that's where they got it from but posted it as him here,so fair enough

I’ve already said I was incorrect with the squad comment. Let’s all forgot the bloke has only won 5 games this season. Sheffield Fans don’t rate him if you look at comments on Facebook. Only group of fans I can see that rate him are Doncaster.
Shows though that fans still aren't happy even if winning games as his win ratio at the 3 clubs was very good and totally agree about his poor show this season with the 2 squads he didn't build that's why I am happy to see what he can do with a chance to build his own squad here
-
No idea if this is true or not but someone has said on FB that DM has averaged 1.58 points a game at Vale that if over a full season would be 70 points with a poor team......... like I said though no idea if that is true or not

No. We can judge him on 17 matches. It’s been utterly horrific. 11 goals and 10 points from 17 games with that run of fixtures is beyond bad. I literally don’t think it was possibly for him to do worse.
Or do you want to judge him on a squad he build at Huddersfield? With his players? 3 wins in 23 games. Fabulous
What squad did he build at Huddersfield?? when he went there on the 21st of September didn't he? or shall we judge him on the actual squads he built at Doncaster,WBA and Sheff Wed ?

Despite me moaning about him not long ago I think Walters showed why we should tie him down and also Shorrock did more than enough to think someone will be in for him this summer

I see that Sproson says many admirers of Dipepa are there watching him today along with ones looking at Shorrock(one club in particular he says, was rumoured to be Forest at one point)

Does that mean we are signing weir? God help us, but why else play him. Is grant injured or done. Ojo on the bench too.
Ojo will have clubs interested in him so if the money's right get rid as i dont think he wants be here anyway now

I see Foyle is there again today,I wonder if he is being targeted for a recruitment position? although he is with Andy Porter so could be just watching their old team

Yeah an odd choice, especially given how poor he has been. Unless there is a chance to bring him in permanently next season? I wouldn’t personally as I think he’s been way short of it, but must have something with how he did at Morecambe?
Yea maybe he is being released by Brighton(not sure of his contract there) but if that's the case and he is free then he has shown he can do it at Morecambe so maybe he would be an ok signing for League 2 but as you say i would prefer us to move on

That is fine as long as you have a strong core / spine of hardened pros to fit them into. The youngsters then look even better and sell for bigger fees! We opted for the lower league chancers + kids option with spectacular failure instead.
Rudgeys team for the best part of 10 years was built around Mussy / Glover / Aspo / Porter / Foyle and Naylor with shooting stars (Guppy / Ainsworth etc) and squad fillers (Sandyman / Stokes / Corden etc) filling the gaps.
Oh dont get me wrong I would want a strong experienced spine to the team Ripley/experienced big CB/Garrity/ and i would love us to still be interested in Smith at Sheff Wed if he would drop so low along with a couple more of the experienced players

Wynne not even in the squad. Another feather in the cap of our magnificent recruitment system. Outstanding as Flitcroft used to say, 13 times a sentence.
Anyway, genuinely excited that we will hopefully never see many of these dossers ever again. Tra.
Nice to see Bhua on the bench and the 16yr old Agnero(actually goes my lads school in Trentham in his year)

That 11 / squad I think suggests that certain players will rightly be let go.
Dont see the point in starting weir though when he will be heading back

Yes,Huddersfield fans saying that their manager now was dealt a bad hand with who Warnock got into the club,so i guess the same should be said for Moore
