No that is fine. I will actually ask the Vale staff at the forum on Thursday.

Debrah was failing medicals at clubs in the summer but ended up signing for us.

Which begs the question, are our medicals stringent enough in line with other clubs? if we are signing players that are failing medicals at other clubs but signing for us and we also end up with signings that have a history of keep being out for long periods injured, I would like to know what are are medicals are like.

Well if you have broken your leg before, then it will not be the same as when you were born. When I was 5 I had no injuries, as you age things go wrong. How can you legislate for a freak injury that surgery has corrected. Some people are unlucky in all walks of life re health/fitness.

Hopefully Jesse is able to sort injury issues out. If we wanted to buy a player in a contact sport that wont get injured, do they exist?

Back on topic I am sure we follow a procedure that Vale as a club adhere too. They wont say we take a risk  a player, due to insurance.

  2. Personally I don't think it was his intention.  Now I suspect he's looking to minimise his loses. Realised there's no profit in it and just wants out. If someone offers him 75m he'll give them the club. If not someone will give him 75m and they'll build houses. He won't sell for less than the value of the land I'd guess.
Bearwood Lakes is worth a fortune. He gambled on PL and he had a poor man's DF. Spent daft and sold cheap. He may not lose but he is a <ovf censored>.

People don't understand how dangerouse uche would be in this league once he's sorted out his shooting. We've all seen some of the rockets he's tried to put towards the net. A bit more practice and he's one of the best strikers in the league.

When will he sort this out?

And if the move doesn't suit us we will still have to let him go, the players and agents hold all the cards.

It depends on the money involved, if we get a fee, we lose a wage and we get someone else in. if we cannot find anyone he stays until the contract is up. It is all right angling for a move, but fate does not always work that way.

The recruitment has not been that terrible 🤨, all the forwards have had issues (injured, unfit, out of favour, not any good.). But all teams want a goalscorer, Man City are doing better I believe without Haaland.

We have a decent goalkeeper , defence has been upset by injury/suspension and out of position players, midfield has potential if players stay fit and play where they should, upfront we do need Wilson or type, plus a scorer. We could just play as we are using Uche as a disrupter, but we have changed our style. This may take time and needs better players, but they do not come cheap.

We have to focus on good loans, pinching a few from a higher level, they are there. Maybe a gamble on non league, but if DF and his lot are earning good money, then it is up to them.

  5. Can we name strikers in the Uche mode, who we have had and physically were " large and strong" but could not score goals?

BTW Uche is a gratfter and I am not going to get banned for saying so.

I can go back a while, but some I could name would probably be playing for us now.

I do feel we as fans are not sure if we want a Naylor, Jones or a Beckford/Mills type . Oh for Cross or a Beamish

  6. Obviously losing Ollie and Alfie is a hit, but we have had these scenarios for a long time, JR did it and made money on a few we could afford, then found new players, Some better, some worse than there predecesors.

The 2 lads we have bought in do have more experience, (or did before we played Oli and Alf so often). So hopefully they do as good a job.

Those saying buy a player, who do we buy? That is going to make a massive difference. All clubs want one.

We have space now so a couple of loans more and a bargain buy that is not until the season end, then that is all we can hope for.

24 games in 4 (four) years. Ben Lomax who you were saying isn't ready has played nearly 13% of that amount just this year, and he hasn't even got a pro contract.

He is on loan same as Kofi so if he plays a few games then all is fine. he may even be better than Kofi? One in one out and yes Ben may be better, but that is up to AC to decide.

Up to Rhys now to show what he can do.

Does make me laugh when some moan when we dont and moan when we do 😉

Where does this info come from Fosse?

Mike Baggaley had a ground tour on The Valiant (Substack), he put the figures down. So if Fosse's calculator is correct that adds up. Railway Paddock and Stand can increase with improvements.

    Hamil End – 4,514

    Railway Paddock – 1483

    Railway Stand – 2,094

    Bycars End – 3,363

    Accessibility Stand – 106

    Lorne Street – 2,045

    Corporate and hospitality - 711
