Christ on a bike man we can't sack them for being relegated even if we wanted to.
And how much is it going to cost to pay them ALL off??
Some we can, not all of them.
The best thing is that we can get their agents to find them another club.
Your vendetta against Nathan Smith is a bit pathetic at this stage too. He is the least of our problems. You don't seem to have this same level of vitriol against James Wilson, who has arguably contributed less, nor Mitch Clark or Dan Jones, who have probably taken more money off the payroll combined than Nathan Smith and care less about the club than he does.
It seems personal for you and is petty at best and vindictive at worst.
To pay off the remaining year contracts of the 8-10 players that people want to see gone on here, assuming they’re earning around 100k a year (2k a week) you’re talking probably 500k up front to ‘sack them’. That’s on the basis that they’re only paid up about 50% of their contract. We simply can’t afford it.
It’s fantasy land. Paying three of them off would cost 150k - probably a good striker’s wages.
We also can’t label them ‘the worst squad ever’ and expect other clubs to take the contracts on. We’ll have to pay a substantial % of their salary to convince, say, Tranmere to take Conor Grant’s contract.

Bill Bratt is a dreadful, dreadful man and is despised by a good proportion of PVFC fans. They say he finally left our football club was absolutely fantastic. Awful bloke.
Are you related to him/a mate?

What an awful man he was. Dear me!

calling for an owner to leave who is actually financially propping up the club rather than taking it for all it’s worth, is not the solution in my mind.
It’s not only not the solution, it’s an absolutely mental suggestion with no appreciation for the state of lower league football at the minute - considering we’ve removed 2 sets of owners in the last 12 years, too.

If we were winning games no one mentions the managers interviews. Start losing and people start reading too much into everything. Looking for stuff that’s not there.
When Bruno fluked a few wins via Jak Alnwick and Alex Jones all and sundry were quoting ‘I’m very ‘appy’.
When DC was a bit short with Bowers, fans called it into question.
Football manager interviews are usually a tedious waste of time and offer nothing.

Great .
Get them moved on
Sack them
Gross misconduct
Making out there footballers is a crime to football
A well-thought out and considered solution.

Was John Rudge ‘passionate’ in interviews? Does it really matter if they win games?
Im not bothered how Moore sounds or what he says. I remember fans kicking off at Clarke’s abrasiveness towards Bowers when he didn’t win for 7. We came to love it.
If Moore wins games, “um no yeah” will become endearing.

I think I’d transfer list Ojo. He doesn’t really look like he wants to be here since Crosby left so let him find a new club and get whatever we can for him. I’m sure a lower end L1 club might want him in their squad.
I think folk are expecting too much of what we can do with contracted players.
Ojo is in his 30s and has 2 years on his contract. He’s been here 2 years already so we can assume that he and his family are settled. He’s vice-captain and a regular player - perhaps played the most of any player under Moore?
Im not sure why he’d leave, or why a League 1 club would choose to take on his 2 year deal. They might offer him 1, but why would he accept that?
I’d be shocked if he’s not here next season, starting - and I’m not a fan of his.
We might shift a couple of others, but who in their right mind is taking Loft, Grant, or Lowe’s contract on? We widely say they’re awful, never want to see them again. Do you think clubs are stupid enough to offer them a comparable wage?
We’re lumped with this squad for another year.

I think we probably sell one of Garrity or Chislett - I would guess Chislett, as he’s better technically, is a bit younger, and perhaps will want to move back South where’s he’s spent most of his career. Charlton wouldn’t surprise me, considering his performances against them. I honestly think we’ll hold onto Garrity.
Next season could look like:
Ripley
Clark New Smith New
Ojo New
Plant New Shorrock
New
Garrity in the attacking midfield new.

If folks are demanding she lost every mistake she’s made, chapter and verse, then you’ve gone off the deep end. She’s apologised, hurting, and has promised to put it right ASAP.
Season’s done. Euro’s soon. Cricket will be on. Sun will be out.
Go and do something else apart from think about Port Vale, as I think we’ve all done a bit too much of that in a completely negative sense. Scrutinising an apology statement and demanding more contrition, more apology, more justice from a woman we were worshipping two years ago as we romped home at Wembley is indicative of the negative feeling taking over. I’m not sure what ‘MORE APOLOGIES!’ would do apart from make some fans feel vindicated. She’s accepted she’s ballsed it.
Relegation is disappointing and was avoidable, but it’s come and gone now. The owner and the manager will be in situ. Genuinely take 2 weeks away from PVFC and come at it again fresh.

I’m sorry but that’s just virtue signaling political waffle.
And please don’t state that you’ve always put the football side of things first because it’s a blatant lie.
Even on our relegation day she mentions the community.
Just get the summer right. Get proper footballers on the pitch. Real men with fight passion and skill. And stop making empty promises.
I think you mention virtue signalling at least once a day on here

Only those with a committed desire to give her a kicking would have an issue with this.
As others have said - just do your best to get it right. She’s made a load of mistakes but made a load of good decisions before that.
I still think we’re in an overall, long-term good position with Carol Shanahan. Fingers crossed this was a step back that she learns from.

Could we take that as - I want to get rid of the dross I have inherited and I want to bring my players in. There are some good players here, but Fraudcroft you brought some real sihte players in.
Said it was a big rebuilding job, and it was important to get ‘the structures’ right - not sure what was meant by that.

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.
This has been a long time coming. Carol will have plenty of people telling her right now that this is just the way football is, she's done a great job with the community and anyone complaining aren't real fans.
All the people about to stubbornly renew ST at the frozen prices will prove it to her.
I’m as moany as they come and I’ll be renewing.

Yes, the signing of one player around 8 years ago who had a litany of personal problems means we should write off any players at the same level in 2024.
I’m sure Posh adopt the same approach with Mason-Clark and Edwards.
Tolaj would be an absolutely outstanding signing - as anyone who has watched him can attest to
