Carol has stated we have an upper league 2 budget and financial status. To get that upto League one status requires the relative infrastructure and revenue streams to be morphed and put in place which is kind of what seens to be happening atm. Ie money into acadamy, pitch etc etc etc There is a big increase in outgoings in league 1, mainly cost of players and wage bills accordingly. This is why we are where we are. Obviously it doesn't help the immediate, but imo that comes down to the Dof and manager bringing in the right players, where ever possible and choosing the right tactics on the pitch to pacify and impress the fan base on a week to week basis. That's where we are failing atm, not by a huge amount, but enough to make the natives restless. Someone posted the amount of players DF has got in in his tenure so far. It's a huge amount of players, where only a small amount has been relatively successful at league one level. So we literally keep searching [emoji361] for the bargains, hoping they will make the mark, until we can afford our league 1 budget and not upper league two budget. Stay up this season and it's another foot forward to this, however we need a positive product on the pitch to keep us happy in the meantime. UTV [emoji123] KTF [emoji120]

Carol is keeping her side of the mission and doing it well. Pitch, infrastructure, match day experience, pushing the buisness model throughout the club to be self sufficient, supporting the acadamy, working on the community aspect etc etc. However she had obviously put her trust in others for the football and on the pitch side of things with DF and AC. They are not performing to their side of the deal as they should be atm. They are kind of fumbling thru it but obviously not in the way intended How long does this be allowed to go on for, only Carol and Kevin will know. Get some results and it gets pushed away again, but have a bad February and who knows what will happen and it will involve some very tough decisions they will have to make imo. Saturday is a crucial game, we simply can't lose or draw to bottom of the table. We just can't. Let's have 30 attempts on goal, direct, in yer face Vale and smash them and not meek, 2 attempts on goal,desperately attempting to play for a draw, and inevitably losing by 1 goal Vale on Saturday.
