  1. Happy relegation day.
You poor fuckers who are going and wasting your money on the worst Vale team in generations, should be wearing black suits.
First away game of the season we got done 7. Last away game of the season might just beat it.
Id like to thank Andy Crosby for his dull tippy tappy, nicey nice crap football.
A big shout out to Carol Shanahan who puts all her energy into Port Vale Community Centre.
And let’s not forget the scumbag that is David Flitcroft. Who managed to assemble the worst, most pathetic, most effortless squad in Port Vales history, over the course of three glorious transfer windows, and got away with it.
Go out there lads and show your worth. And may most of you be off out of this club next season you absolute bunch of bottle job no hopers.

  2. Well it looks like he gets the very rare accolade of getting two clubs relegated in the same season.
From what I've seen so far and with this accolade hanging over him I'm really not full of confidence at all with him.
Shame as with all our managers, I desperately want it to work out for them.
I was excited by his appointment but he has been terrible so far and we are worse atm.
I can't see him having any sort of budget next season as we have so many under contract still.
However he simply has to get some forwards and left and right backs but who will we get? Sicknotes and obscure signings on the cheap of no merit
Carol seems to not listen to anything football so don't hold your breath for anything

  3. Just to bring you up to speed on Wanderers, we should be pretty much at full strength after resting a few with knocks against Shrewsbury. For whatever reason that led to a dreadful performance but not just by the players who came in, the whole team just flopped and in the end we were lucky to get a point. Santos is the only doubt and if he’s still missing I suspect you’ll get a chance to see Will Forrester again who apart from Tuesday has been tremendous. I’m really surprised and disappointed that Vale are where they are I expected much better from you but obviously things haven’t turned out well and sadly since Saturday is a major must win game for us I’d be surprised if we don’t really go for it, including goals to have even a chance of overtaking Derby. Still you never know footballs a funny game but whatever happens I wish you well next season wherever you are. If it is L2 I think after a clear out and recruitment summer DM should have a much better chance of turning you around.

  4. If you were smart enough to understand that we need Carol, then you would understand that it isn't a reward. She needs us, we need Carol....until Mr.Billionaire comes in which won't happen in my lifetime.
Carols just his next one. He's done AC, DF and now CS. Once she's gone I've heard he's going to go for the lad that heats the pies up in the railway kiosk. No one is safe from him

  5. Yet another clear out.
Then the intense disappointment of signing players we've hardly or never heard of on the cheap. Chuck in a few cheap sicknotes, long term and sporadic, a few loanees who if we're lucky will get half a season out of but the majority of them won't even play for us.
Plus a few that no one else wants no matter what and that will be the 'rebuild'.
    Maximum spend 75k
All the others free agents, loanees.
    Bring on League 2

  6. Or has DM been brutally honest with Carol and said no chance of staying up with these. It's too late. Give me a 5 Yr deal and a budget and I'll get you back up, but you have to get rid of Flitcroft as he's responsible for all of this and I can't work with him.
The fans are going to go demented with a relegation but we ride it and start winning in league 2 and they will soon forget about this.
    Fk knows

  7. It wasn't just a purple patch though - there was also the 'purple patch' the season before, playing very well on loan in League 1 for Cambridge. At Blackpool he just wasn't getting the game time, which is why we pulled the plug on his loan.
On paper - and on previous performances - it should have been a good loan move. Clearly it hasn't been, and that is a disappointment.
Just the Vale effect Seagull, nothing more, nothing less. He will leave us and go somewhere for next season and absolutely smash it again

  8. We were all expecting more, far more from our 'name' manager. Carol and Flitcroft were made up we got him as were most of the fan base.
C and F were made up as it would hopefully releive some of the increasing pressure of relegation and get fans back on side for next season in league 1, once DM had worked his magic and we scraped thru.
Fact is, under his short tenure so far, it literally couldn't of gone any worse for Carol, Flitcroft the club and fans.
Surely with a manager of DMs 'pedigree' we should be staying up? Atm he's just another not very good manager.
The argument of him needing his own players, team etc is a get out, or get firmly in jail card for him and tbh he is lucky to have that one for next season because let's face it, he has been atrocious so far. But yeah, that's the players, Carol's, Supporters fault, not his.
I expected him to keep us up.

  9. He didn't have a massive amount to do points wise when he came to keep us up . He also had games in hand etc etc.
So what he's 'achieved' since he's been with us is very very poor.
Dubious tactics and subs have put him very much on the radar for ineptness.
He must of known what he was walking into and how instrumental was he in Flitcroft going?
It will all come out with the wash as we lumber into league 2 for another fun packed drama free season.
