  1. Ah it’s only taken four games for the usual clowns to want Moore out.
This ship was sunk long before he arrived and I’ll judge him come this time next year. Plenty of effort tonight but not enough quality which sums up most our games in 2024. Had we got a forward like Stockley we’d have stayed up instead we signed no one other than Loft.
i hope when Carol sits down with DF to review this season, she doesn’t accept his woeful performance in the transfer market.
It's not Moore out by any stretch of the means. What tactics did you see second half that were effective, along with subs? Yes the squad is threadbare. But to capitulate like that in the second half, after a positive first half is very questionable. We all saw it and all thought exactly the same. Wtf is going on!!!
  2. Farcical and diabolical second half. Not convinced by big D at all atm.
Gonna get ripped a new one Saturday, make no mistake.
Its the inability to close and the standing off that's just veering on insane.
Surely his halftime talk wasn't keep it tight at the back and let them come at you, we're 2/0 up they aren't getting any goals. We've got this?
Has he literally not watched any Vale games where we sit back and actively encourage a complete bombardment on our fragile defence and weak af midfield.
Just keep at them and Press or something ffs. No, let's just let them do exactly what they want for 45 minutes. Completely naive and possibly out of his depth. Even at little old Port Vale

  3. I’ve had my moan & groan now. I’ll be there backing the lads on Tuesday as after all it’s what we do ain’t it. Some are content, some are still being positive, some are angry & some on the fence but at the end of the day we’re all Vale aren’t we
Yeah mate. It ain't much atm, but it's still our Vale
Just have to try and remove the endless negativity and get yer own summise settled in yer suede. It is what it is, and fk it we're all Vale.
A good night's kip does away with the day befores game, well, to an extent anyway!!
Enjoy yer oatcakes and porridge this morning Valiants.
The mess we're in ISN'T the end of the world.

  4. I don't think the players are not trying, they are mentally broken and unable to function. Whether a win can put that right is questionable, but the longer it takes to arrive the worse it is going to get. That's why the build up play is ponderous they are trying to be perfect and not acting on instinct.
Yep the instinct is severely lacking. Saw it loads yesterday. One win can change that and they can claw back a little bit of
    confidence.
I think it's too late tho. AC should've gone earlier to give the new gaffer some proper time to work with them, as now it's extreme pressure on them, with 0 confidence. We are running out of games.

  5. OK here's my team we have to score we have to lift the moral around the place as it stinks.
        Ripley
    Plant Debrah Lopaco Icavetti
    Sang Garrity Chislett Mighten
            Wilson Loft
No point worrying about defending we have to win .
Take the players out who clearly do not want play because Crosby got sacked .
It's clear as day with some .
    Hopefully, Moore has seen it
Well Carol stated in the video he needed 3 games to access the team properly, he's had those 3 games now. So will we see drastic changes ?
The problem with this dismal run we are on is that it's gone on for ever. It's like 15 months now, other than a little bit of success at the beginning of this season.
That's why the supporters have had the life and soul sucked out of them as it's endless and relentless . Resulting in overall negativity, anger and apathy and fingers pointed and scapegoats everywhere as we desperately try to get some kind of non existent rationale and answers to it all.
I think DM recognises all of this with the fan base and is trying to unite and galvanise us fans and keep calm, positive and level headed about what he faces.
The powers to be have a different slant of burying their heads in the sand and literally hoping and believing that the run of form at the beginning of the season will rise and appear again as it's pretty much the same group of lads that managed to achieved that. They believe they are capable. That comes down to blind faith and niavety.
Having said that there has been no proper pacification or reassurance to the supporters, from the powers to be, as they endlessly hope and prey we will regain that form. That's why so much time had been given to AC etc. They thought with time it will come good again, but they've now run out of time.
Having said all that the gaffers had his 3 games to access and we now go into an absolute must win on Tuesday. The club, Carol and fans are in crisis and meltdown. The lads and gaffer are the only people that can change that in the immediate.
Let's get behind them yet again. Surely, logically we can't have a calamity of errors again like we did yesterday?

  6. That video is embarrassing! Where have they filmed that, the carpet looks like something in a hostel & the flooring looks like a dart board that’s been battered down your local. Why can’t she face the cameras I wonder. First the letter now this it’s cringeworthy to be honest. Will come back to bite you on the bum Carol because now way will we be fine. We’re bloody terrible
I would think the filmer didn't want to show Carol in tears tbf. Just hear the words and protect her a bit. She got her composure back.

  7. A video of a short (three minute) speech that Carol seems to have given to a room of people.
In the video, she takes the mic to speak and is very emotional, almost breaking into tears as she composes herself to say that she couldn't believe it when after a three hour zoom call with Moore talking to "me and Flickers", he rang back and said he'd take the job. She says Moore's values aligns with that of the club and that she is so pleased and proud to have him as manager seen as he is a Championship manager.
She goes on to say that Moore told her that he needed three games to work out the team, see the measure of them. She says that she is confident he will turn it around now he's had those three games. She says it's a good squad and she's been with the new backroom staff and their family today. They all told her how fantastic Darren is and promised her that he'll turn it around.

Personally, it's a difficult watch to see her in such a state. I'm sure Moore will get the squad winning games, but it'll be in League Two. I didn't like her saying "me and Flickers", didn't sound too promising for change of sporting director, but we knew that already.

Blimey. Sounds intense tbf kinda glad I couldn't see it. It wouldn't sit easy with me seeing her upset ethier.
Sounds like she's between a rock and a hard place with it all.
    What a mess

  8. Chislett kept dribbling in the wrong areas giving the ball away. Wilson is a poor target man. Deborah looked OK to me. Sang has the ability but is very short of confidence. Weir is coming along. Smith and Jones threw the game away.
We were not worse than Lincoln today. The stats other than the goals say that. That's not to say either side were much kop.
Lincoln didn't have to do anything. They knew that. Training match for them
  9. Nathan Smith take a bow. That's how to motivate and encourage your team in a relegation battle. Seriously losing any hope here now.
Bottom line is the lads aren't good enough. If they ain't good enough that's not their fault.
One fluke season in years now. It's never gonna end .
Pressure on pressure on pressure for the lads who aren't good enough. Tuesday is off the scale for some kind of result now.
    So fkd off tonight.

  10. Hope so Daz, don't think I can handle a loss today and Tuesday night mate.
DM has had time with the lads on the training pitch, and let's hope he's pin pointed the areas that caused the goals at Reading.
I suppose if the lads simply aren't good enough then that's just how it is, but we need them too show spirit and fight.
