We have very little widdle room for a great escape....

    .😬😬👍👍

the result against Burton gives us hope and the performance was excellent and ti feel three more wins will keep us up and we still have Wycombe , Exeter and Cambridge to come and I believe we can do it; stay positive and get behind the lads

    Not very good is he.

so far he has achieved nothing but some of tge players have been awful; smith has been awful season and jones wouldn’t get in tge Leek town team and Massy just isn’t good enough and for goodness sake look at Loft; Bristol rover’s fans couldn’t believe we signed him and they all hvery long contracts and the route of the problem is tge buffoon that signed them and he will bankrupt tge club as he did at bury

  3. I am very to say, having been to every game both home and away all season I completely despair at tge appointment of Flitcroft as fired of football and we are most certainly getting relegated and unless he is removed from his position at tge club and tge new manis allowed to sign players with the love for tge club that I and many others have, this complete fraud will let us relegated again and season ticket sales will plummet and we will be in financial toubly; remember what happened at bury; he took them into financial dept and they went bankrupt carol please get rid of this complete buffoon before he takes us in the same direction

The difference between Popey and Smith is one wore his heart on his sleeve and give everything for the vale and the other just doesn't seem interested and shows no where near enough commitment or desire #  Popeys a legend and Smiths useless

I think smith has been poor all season and suffers from too many positional changes in tge team but the pope would still score but Carol wouldn’t have him back at the club as he causes trouble but he certainly knows where tge back if the net

Neither can Sang...and he certainly can't tackle. His 2 corners last week versus Shrewsbury were awful

sang is a midfield player playing out of position in my view and the manager has no alternative but to chop and change; in my opinion the squad just isn’t good enough  except for Ripley and Garrity but for once Massey played well on Tuesday but we need goals but clearly most of the site are suffering with very low confidence so let’s hope we can break the voodoo and scrape a win but Oxford are playing for a playoff position so it won’t be easy

I agree but do we have better ?

I really don’t rate Jones at al, and that was a clear penalty at Leyton orient and he has been poor all season and regularly gets completely out of position and personally I wouldn’t have him at tge club and how he has got a contract until the end of 2025 I just can’t comprehend and he will sit it out and get paid and get bayed and for me he wouldn’t get in the Leek town side and I completely blame for all these contract negotiations and he will ruin this(my) club if he stays and I doubt we will stay up and I worry about his appointments if he stays; Carol please get rid of him for the new manager’s sake I know you don’t control foootballing matters and this complete idiot will ruin the club you saved

I doubt we have any realistic chance of staying up this season, but I would like us to go down fighting. Just for my sanity I would like to see 2 or 3 wins at home before the close. Hopefully starting Saturday it will cheer me up before I jet off to Cape Verde for some R and R in the sun.

I couldn’t go on Tuesday but watched it and we had a slice of luck as I thought they should have had a clear penalty with the clear trip by tge very poor jones an Wilson should have scored but Ripley again had a great match and at last Massey was excellent but I am going for a narrow win on Saturday against a team that will be in the playoffs if they win but I would drop jones as I don’t rate him but I don’t pick the side obviously and the manager doesn’t read this

I will be there to support the team so give it  your best and an early goal would help

I don't think we're going stay up and I think most fans have accepted that now. At least the players put some effort in last night at Leyton Orient even though we could still have lost it at the end we did have chances to win also. The first 3 home games of the season we beat reading, carlise and Northampton all 1 nil, we could do with doing that on Saturday just to give us abit of confidence to show we can win and score goals plus keep clean sheets. Oxford got thrashed by Bolton last night no idea if Oxford were terrible or Bolton played well or if Oxford had alot out injured but we arnt capable of putting 5 past a team so grinding out a 1 nil is the best we can do really. Oxford are a better side than us and should beat us comfortably something like 2 nil but hopefully we can grind out a 1 nil win.

I think that is probably true but the fact that Stevenage lost last night doesn’t help which means if they win on Saturday they will move into a playoff position

I don’t think it matters who we pick now. We are essentially down given we can’t buy a win at the moment. I’d be tempted to use the run in to give game time to Lorax, Dipepa, Shorrock, Walters and Plant. McDermott could have been an option if we’d kept hold of him. Burnley obviously think he’s got potential. Maybe try Sang in a midfield role as he played there when he was at Man Utd. Dan Gore has been a waste of a signing. That slot could have gone to a forward. Not the young lads fault but we needed experience, not someone with no senior football to his name.

    I’d go:

    Ripley

    Lomax Lopata Iacovitti  Jones

    Plant Sang Walters Shorrock

    Garrity

    Dipepa

there right winger is really quick and I worry every game with Jones

I would be surprised if the vale can get a goal tonight .  Or just play well . But all vale fans live in hope every game .

I see that loft is out for a few games and Mitch Clark injured his leg in the warm up at Derby

and I hopchislet can play alongside Wilson but Massey spends most of his time warming up the crass but we need a slice of luck to win

  11. sadly with current form I would settle for a scrappy one nil win but we look devoid of any confidence and goal scoring threat; I thought Wilson played very well on Saturday with good lay off play with no one running up to support him and as usual Massey spent most of his time lying down on the pitch and our defence looks  really weak on set pieces and Jones should be left back off the pitch and I support them completely and really hope we can halt the rot; I can’t go but will be there on Saturday but I am not very confident of avoiding relegation sadly

Ah you're right my bad, I forgotten he'd played 3 games for Rovers before signing.

It’s very interesting as I know a number of Bristol rovers fans and they couldn’t believe anybody bought him and they replying with an ex Derby player and loft has scored one goal and done nothing else and how has such an awful player got such a long contract and we can’t get rid of him due to his contract and who would buy him..likewise with the dreadful Jones and at least the similarly awful Massey will leave soon

The only positive for anybody going this game is that the tickets are only 10 pounds. Can't see us getting a positive result, probably lose 3 or 4 nil unless Ripley has a decent game.

he always has a decent game but our defence is awful and attack..what attack

The only thing I’d question is keeping Ripley. Really good goalie yes….but a desire to want to get too involved in games ‘complicates’ things.

my view is quite simple; too many of the players have too long a contract; smith has been very poor all season and as sad as it just get rid along with one of tge worst left backs(Jones) I have ever seen at tge club and Ojo just doesn’t look inspiring to me; move jones on and thank goodness Massey’s contract ends in May,; Wilson played well on Saturday but give Loft to another club..but who would have him? and I think Garrity signed to play in league one as did Ripley and Will They get their agents to move them on as I think both are championship players and I doubt we will see ikpaezo again sadly; clearly we need a clear out to fund better players to keep us in league one and Flitcroft couldn’t run a bath but I firmly believe he keeps all of this away from Carol to protect his own job; look what he did at bury bought too many players including the Pope and they were bankrupt and in a division below Leek town now! Carol; be careful what you wish for!

I'm afraid Smith can do one aswell. No credits left in the bank for me after today, regardless of what league we are in.

I agree about smith and his time has come and we need a big clear out of tge player on long term contracts, replace Ojo give loft a free transfer and get rid of the absolutely dreadful jones and Massey’ s contract is up and he is awful as well

we won’t see ikpaezo again and whilst Wilson played reasonably well today and I still don’t understand why we got rid of Conlon and why the he’ll is our best r back on loan and sack Flitcroft now before he pushes into major debt like he did at Bury and look where they are now..in a league below Leek town

With Flitcroft still pulling the strings let's just stay above the bottom 2.

    Flitcroft Out.

my view is an honest but worrying one; we are not league two ready and if Carol doesn’t realise that flitcroft is the problem..and his past record shows it; we will be lucky to survive league two and if the regular suspition of us being in debt which seems very clear as we only loan players who can be withdrawn as we dont control theicontracts we could be in big trouble and Flitcroft will bankrupt another club like he did at Bury by buying players like the Pope that they couldn’t afford

I genuinely don't have a problem with Massey as a squad player in fact the games we have played well in this season he has performed and made a difference. Doesn't have much time off injured and I think he tries his best.

    Flicroft Out.

I am sorry but I really disagree I haven’t seen the same as you and haven’t seen many games where he has contributed much; admittedly he scored against Charlton but he hasn’t contributed much and I would release him to make room for a completely better player; opinions hey

I can't see anything changing, the public denouncement of David Flitcroft makes it more difficult to dispense with his services I suspect.

Carol has said Flitcroft is doing a good job but some of his signings like Loft, Jones and Massey just don’t reflect that and the Bristol rovers fans couldn’t believe we signed him and he has a contract until the end of 2025 and who would buy him because he is awful; we have to get rid of Jones but he is one of the worst left backs I have ever seen at the club and I doubt we will see Ikpaezo again and thank goodness Massey’s contract finishes in May and I expect Wilson to move on but I don’t trust flitcroft to sign any quality as his record shows

All good doing the work properly on the training field and showing commitment, but sadly we are not good enough as a squad for division 1 .😩😩 VTID

I was at the game against Derby and there wasn’t much shouting from tge players when that third goal went in except from the fans shouting get Flitcroft out of thour club and its time to redress  that on Saturday as a win is essential

    Cheltenham losing already

I know Cheltenham lost but they have a tough game on Saturday at Oxford

and having been to derby where we were very poor; I feel we have to win three starting on Saturday then two further tough games against teams trying to get into the playoffs

I can’t go on Saturday but my fingers are crossed for a slice of luck

We're just not going to get 5 or 6 wins from the last 12.

It's League Two next season and we need to start planning now.

Hopefully Moore just uses games like these to find out more about the players and who to keep.

I didn’t see any spirit in the side on Saturday and I belief tge team have accepted their fate and I can’t see a win on Saturday or at Leyton orient nor against Oxford and if results go the wrong way on Saturday and I won’t be there I expect no more wins to stave off relegation but I hope they prove me wrong and I firmly believe if Flitcroft doesn’t leave our club he will ruin us

I’ve already given up on staying up

However if we win this it’s game on

Let’s get down there fellow lads and ladies

I went to the Derby game and it appeared to me that the players had accepted the expectancy of relegation with no strike force and we didn’t even have a shot on target but those off target don’t win games and playing played out of position isn’t doesn’t work but loft had another great game and so good I didn’t see him; in my opinion we have get rid of jones who is awful as is Massy and loft and we need a clear out; move Smith on and I doubt Wilson will stay but who on earth would buy Loft as he is awful in my opinion and the person who gave these controut Willy nilly has to be removed and at Derby it was clear “” Flitcroft get out of our club you helped put bury into bankruptcy and if you stay your record won’t improve

SUPRISED 365 only dropped us to the 8/13 from the 4/6 TBH.....

This is of course as we have a couple of games in hand on the likes of Shrewsbury. This is WHY I believe we still have a chance but that will have to start with a win v Shrewsbury next weekend....

I support your comments but the team looked devoid of confidence yesterday and appeared to have no fight in them; we aren’t down yet but it’s not looking great

Having listened to the DM post match interview it gives me a bit of hope.

They had 1 day and 2 classroom sessions to prep that performance. Think we looked more assured on the ball.

Also thought it was interesting in a DM pre matcher that he said trying new formations can suddenly breath life into different players. Not everything came off for Weir but it was the best I have seen him recently. Would also say the same for Mighten and Loft. Chislett can still be frustrating.

My only concern with 4 at the back is that we are even less will stocked at RB & LB. As others said the game turned when Jones came off.

Anyway a few green shoots. The three up top gives us more options for subs. Hopefully when Gore is fit he has an impact.

I am sorry to disagree with you but they had most of the possession and looked comfortable on the ball and two easy goals one from outside of the box and  one inside and defensively we looked poor and as per normal jones was poor
